You should not stop at every person that enters the chat to speak, and answer a question..... That seems to prolong the video and throw off your speaking to being repetitive, You should also finish your sentences before you respond to the chat! I didn't remember or recognize the point you were trying to get at...... Or if that's your thing and you just want to show recognition to the people after u finish ur sentence you should recognize everyone at the same time like read then answer all questions because it's confusing when you just blurt out things in the middle of your sentence then try 2 pick back up where u left off especially if people are not looking or in the chat!

Hey I am interested in becoming a travel agent. I want to move abroad and after college (have two more years in my hospitality management degree) and I have been looking for a skill that I can take classes for over the summer and possible keep me employed as an expat. As a student I just wanted to know how should I get started. I just want to increase my knowledge and maybe get certified before I graduate.

2 Dove Birdz I'm in a similar situation with one year left in a Computer Science degree looking into changing fields after graduation! Is there any age(experience) or education requirement or does the training you're referring to cover it? Also you mentioned that this is a part time job for you, how demanding is your day job? Is holding a full time position and still having enough time to dedicate to clients a realistic goal?

Since you would be a business owner you set your schedule and how much time you dedicate to different tasks not anyone else. This flexibility really helps me to balance my job and work with my clients successfully. The minimum age is 18 and all trainings are accessed through your online portal/ directly from vendors/ a website dedicated to training travel agents. Painful to watch. We don’t care who signs in late stick to your message. You’re knowledgeable but all over the place. Perhaps write down key things you want to talk about then elaborate. Please go back and count how many times you stopped your train of thought, answer someone’s message and tried to get back on point. It was annoying and you might lose potential clients/agents . Just focus more. Still wishing you all the best in your business.

Sherese Stringfield thanks for commenting my host agency provides initial training and then access to several training resources. All training is online and self guided with international training events about twice a year at select suppliers venues

Where did you do your training?
Juan Franklin I did my initial training through my host agency and have expanded my training to Travel Agent University and many vendors offer their own training which I also take advantage of.
