Mine has. I will have it every 3 weeks. I just haven’t been staged yet and waiting to get petscan and results. My current plan is subject to change based on those results. I will do taxol/carboplatin with keytruda every 3 weeks. The other once weekly with radiation for 12 weeks then surgery. After that I will do more rounds of chemo, one being the red devil. If all goes as planned preventive chemotherapy for at least a year. This is only if it has not spread.

I was diagnosed with breast cancer on my left breast but the result of the biopsy no findings of her2 was reported. I had a sonogram and a citi scan was done of both breast but it was reported that the right breast had no cancer. Since my mother died of her left breast cancer and my sister just had her left breast removed because she was also diagnosed with breast cancer. After my double mastectomy and had expander placed for later reconstruction I found from my surgeon that I had made the right decision to remove my right breast because when the tissue was tested It turn out that I had her2 cancer on the right breast. My question is after doing my mamo and sonogram I was always told that I had dense breast tissue but nothing else. I just had done a mamo and sonogram in early may 2022 and around September 2022 I felt a lump in the left breast as my sister who had her left breast removed around October 2022. Now I am being referred to two specialist to determine the type of treatment I am to follow. My surgeon already told me that I have to have chemotherapy and also take a special pill for the cancer and also may be radioactive therapy. I had tumor removed from each breast around my late thirty and had requested for my two breast to be removed but no one pay attention and was referred to go for annually check ups. Now I am thinking if I had remove my breast since them I would not be going through all this pain at this age 66yrs. old. What is the percentage of my life to be extended until around my 80? I also had the genetic test done but it came back negative. Now I have nieces that may be at risk later in the future. So I/m praying that my life is extended as much as possible to see my two sons future life and enjoy some of it a a healthy individual.

I have a slight issue with confusion about BRCA, genetics testing and how breast cancer can pop up when results come back negative on carrying a gene.
I took the genetics test in 2018 and it showed up negative, that I in fact did not carry the BRCA and that it had skipped me, but yet, here I am at 45, recently diagnosed with triple negative inflammatory breast cancer with infiltrating duct carcinoma and have been told I am stage 3B. This is very confusing and was a complete shatter for myself and my children, to think that I would be ok, but yet here I am dealing with this and having my life turned upside down.

My mother was diagnosed with triple-negative breast cancer, did neo-adjuvant chemo, and then had a double mastectomy. The pathology came back clear (full remission), yet her doctors want to "finish the treatment" with two rounds of red chemo. Is that normal and/or recommended? She didn't take well to the first chemo rounds and I am worried.

I have a question if you could please answer .I m one year survivor of this cancer .all of my treatment is successfully done by the grace of God .First chemo then surgery tumor removed then radiation then oral chemo .last week my mammogram report was good.but the thing I can't understand is that my energy level has reduced a lot even though my doc said I m like a normal person but I can't work like before .I am a normal housewife cooking for children sometimes big dinner for guests also but before. I know this is irrelevant question but maybe help many.

My body rejected my chemo treatment so we went straight to surgery and now they say radiation. So confused. I'm brca2 and triple negative invasive ductal carsanoma. Hit me at 45. My tumor in breast did shrink but 7 lymph nodes was removed as well as both breast. What are my chances now to beat this? 4 or the 7 lymph nodes and the breast tumor had active cancer cells. What if they left some cells behind . Sooooo scared, not of dying, I know where I'm going if I die but should I do any more treatment or reconstruction surgery if I can't beat this. Being realistic, not negative. But I would rather live peaceful my last days/years than suffering. Chemo isn't an option for me anymore being it didn't do What I needed and that was rough. Taxol Chemo was worse on me than the red devil. Anyone have any insight or word or wisdom or encouragement for me?

My own conclusion is that most are not "of age" to have regular mammograms so it's not found until it's progressed too far. Again you have my deepest sympathy.

Besides the pain and the suffering, this disease is so costly, my beautiful daughter is only 38 and she is still working because she wants to fight this horrible disease , her body is so tired that I am afraid she will give up. Mayo clinic is treating her, because she has her work insurance, but sometimes that is not enough. I wish that there would be a Saint Jude hospital or another organization for women that are fighting cancer and the treatment could be free.

I am 46 y.o, newly diagnosed TNBC stage 3. had surgery-mastectomy with LD flap and implant on my R breast about 7 weeks ago. My lump size was 4,5 cm, no cancer cell found in any of my 15 lymph nodes, planning to have chemo and my oncologist said the chemo regiment will depend on my PDL-1 result instead of BRCA-1 gene as mentioned in your video. still waiting for my BRCA result. The problem is i have multiples breast cyst on my other breast, and now i am TNBC: do i need other surgery for my other breast and ovaries if my BRCA result positive? What chemo regiment is best for me? The option that offered to me are: tecentriq and abraxane if PDL-poaitive or docetaxil and carboplatin if PDL-1 negative.
I'm very sad and feel "some things has gone wrongly" since the begining as i insist to have "core biopsy or lumpectomy" but thw oncologiat refused due to lump size which is more than 3 cm by ultrasound

I did not need chemo. Three months ago I had triple negative breast cancer. It was 3 cm that was a blessing. I did not need chemo or radiation. But I did have a mastectomy to remove both breast. I am still working on reconstruction surgery 31 December I should have my implants. I was told by my oncologist that anything below an 8 cm would not need radiation or chemo.

So here’s the low down. I was diagnosed 3rd October with triple negative breast cancer that is aggressive. After 10 months post chemotherapy, 2 ops to remove the cancer from my right breast I’ve now developed 5 calcium spots on my breast. After having 5 biopsies, ultrasound, a clip insertion and 3 mammograms all in the day after worrying about keloid scarring post surgeries a year ago why the hell did my breast surgeon suggest a lumpectomy? I’m shocked and now after researching that I will be lucky to live 5years!! I wasn’t triple negative hormonal but HER2 which can travel to the organs. Is this video to promote Chemo? I am very worried that after 10 months post chemotherapy, two surgeries and radiation that last Friday resulted in 5 biopsies, 3 mammograms and another clip inserted into my breast that here in the UK I now need to wait another 10 days before the results are released.. maybe my rant is wasted here as more of a plight to sell chemo.. please prove me wrong!

My surgeon said it was 1 degree and before 3days it was removed( mastectomy) I will be given chemotherapy as well. I wonder how high is the possibility is me having metastasis elsewhere in body?

I believe TNBC was discovered over twenty years ago. My mother in law was diagnosed with it back in 1996 and my Sister in law in 1997 she was young. My Mother In Law passed away but my Sister in law is alive and well. I too was diagnosed in 2014 with TNBC. More research is needed for sure 6 years and still in remission.

My friend has normal right breast. Her left breast Upper Outer Quadrant malignant mass, pathologically proven malignant, but no axillary lymh nodes & no multicentricity; no evidence of FDG-avid nodal or distant mestasis. Her Estrogen, Progestron & Her-2 are all negative.
She has completed all tests fr. Ultrasound, Mammogram, Biopsy, MRI, PET Scan & other series of blood/laboratory tests.
In her Mammogram & Ultrasonography, mass found about 15x19 mm in diameters; in the MRI, size is bigger & measures 30x21mm.
Her Doctor, a Breast Cancer Oncologist, advised/plan for my friend's cure:
    1. UPFRONT CHEMO (4 months, every 2 weeks & total of 8 sessions)
    2.SURGERY (part of the breast)
    3.Radiation (6 weeks)
Hence, with this details presented; is it really necessary for my friend to undergo for CHEMO with no 100% guarantee that the mass/tumor will be gone OR is it best if my friend can skip Step 1 w/c is chemo directly have STEP 2 w/c is SURGERY to focus on removing the mass/tumor?

Chemo was recommended to be done first. It will stop the cancer in its track. Then proceed with removing lump/breast. Hope this helped.
