Somewhat. It's not the car bottoming out. It's the car pressing on the wheels and the wheels rubbing off the inside of the arches. So it forces the car to steer in these scenarios Very strange that there's no like limiter to how low the car is allowed to go before it's undrivable but yea at least now I know.
what you experienced is due to the newest update that changed the way car physics works, more specifically damper settings in the suspension. This is probably why you never noticed it before because it only started after the most recent update
