I only see the snow geese for a short time, they move a lot, you have to look after the farmers or landowners property, otherwise no hunting or trapping.
Yeah Eddie there’s a lot involved, bedding it is the number one thing if it moves if a fox steps on the jaw they will dig it, if it has a strange odor on it they will dig it you have to play the wind and it has to be on a travel way. After all that you have to get them to step on a two inch circle 😝
Looked like a great location for the dirt hole. Yeah, it doesn't take long to tear up a dirt trail/road in muddy conditions. That's when I park and walk to my sets. Deer need to hibernate during cable restraint season 🤣
I wish they would just jump over the cables, but predators follow the deer trails so I guess we have to put up with them. I have to reset cables almost every day.
The geese were serenading your dirt hole set. 😁 Good tip on keeping the landowner/farmer happy. Respecting the property goes a long ways 👍
