WHAT IS A REALISTIC REBORN BABY DOLL?
A reborn baby is a realistic baby doll that was hand painted and assembled (aka "reborned") by a reborn artist, such as myself! They are made to realistically resemble a real baby as much as possible! Reborn babies are weighted to be as heavy as a real baby, they have details such as real looking mottled skin, milk spots, baby acne, "under the skin" appearance of veins, lanugo, rooted hair, they're often modified to take a pacifier, etc... (of course, depending on what the artist chooses to include.. the price will reflect the level of detailing). Reborn dolls LOOK, FEEL, and sometimes even SMELL like a real baby!!! You can dress them up in real baby clothes, and use real baby items on them such as strollers, cribs, carseats, etc... making them a ton of fun to have and enjoy! Often times, they will come home with a "box opening" which is the traditional way a reborn is sent off to their new home with lots of outfits and goodies that can be used with the baby such as a stuffed animal, a pacifier, maybe a hair brush or bib... creating a beautiful way to interact with your new baby! Reborn dolls are collectors items and not the most suitable baby doll for children, however, many responsible children are gifted them by their parents and loved ones. They can range anywhere from $100s-$1000s of dollars, depending on the artist's skill level.

Hi, cuddle heads and seconds kits do not come with BB COA's, it is recommended (for artists) to keep your sale receipts for the kits purchased without a COA- to share with customers to provide authenticity verification. 😊

I've been trying so hard to get my daughter her only wish for the last 4 years. Her bday is Dec 31st & last year I worked all year on saving to get her the doll of her dreams & when we finally got it, it wasn't the doll I thought I paid for. The next day we woke up to the news of my sister passing away & our world came crashing down. She turns 14 this year but her mentality is more of a 10yr old. she doesn't even want to celebrate her birthday because she's in so much pain,Her and my sister were so close. She mentioned that she still wanted the reborn baby doll for her birthday but we don't have the money to get it this year since my only income is my SSI & that's only $800 a month, that doesn't go far with the way things are in the world. So again I've failed my babygirl, I've been trying to find contests to Maby win the type of doll she's wishing for. I'm praying I'll win so my beautiful girls dream will come true. I feel like a horrible failure as a mom.

I just listed 8 of my reborns from my collection on the website. There are 4 girls and 4 boys. I have to sell them as I finally bought a hyper realistic full body silicone newborn that I have wanted for 4 years. So hopefully mine sell soon!

I was surprised when I purchased my cuddle baby heads from bountiful baby and none of them came with a COA. Kinda disappointed but I’m just gonna give a certificate from my nursery. I also got a Rylee by Bonnie Sieben cuddle baby head from macpherson and she didn’t come with a COA either. Guess no cuddle babies come with a COA. I plan on selling them as budget babies with Christmas box openings, if they sell by Christmas time. If not they will have regular box openings.
I definitely want to do a Christmas unboxing but idk if can buy a baby this year. I’m saving for the doll show 😭🤣

Thank you! 🥰 My intention is not to, as I looked for dolls that had COAs (although one fell through the crack). But it is my understanding from all the lovely people that have commented and answered my question about cuddle baby heads, is that the BB heads don’t come with COAs.

Reborns.com is pretty good at keeping scammers at bay. They validate their sellers so yes, you should be good!! Olesya Venger is a well know artist and I looked at her reborns.com account and yes, that’s her. I can spot her work anywhere. She’s amazing, I had her Skya for a while
