Your class is very good .. sorry, my English is from Brazil, São Paulo, but the video for myself in another language I understood much better than in my language Congratulations and thank you for sharing your knowledge.
Hi Fahim, for each of your questions, the output of either a timer or counter can be used to control other portions of your program. Simply address a normally open or normally closed contact as Timer.Q or Counter.Q If you right click on the instruction the existing timer or counter tags will be available
@@PeteVree Thanks a lot for reply Sir would you like to tell us in your next video that how we will use output of timer ET and counter CV in ladder diagram. Thanks
Another great Video by Pete! Thanks man! Have a general question about the TIA portal, Pete: can the user make several projects with TIA and download them all to the CPU or does each new project mean that the former project on the CPU will be erased? Take care.
Here we doing manually ON and OFF in swich simultaneously , and then the counter starts to counts. My question is how to create a block to count automatically and get output. I think so, By using timer and counter. Could u explain it..
hi Pete. May I ask about the video with the Up/Down Counter ? Did you make it but forgot to add it in this playlist ? Btw I'm watching all of your videos and currently are in video 22 with the conveyour belt rotating by pi/2 and back. Keep up the good work
Yes, still haven't finished filling in the gaps in the playlist. Will probably start working on it again in a month or so... still have to do a bunch using the HMI as well.
Our students, and myself included, are Electricians. The Ladder makes more sense to us. We only have 5 weeks in our Advanced Program to learn as much as possible before the students return back to work. However, if you have some good resources for learning SCL, I would appreciate them as I am trying to improve my PLC Programming skills.

I believe each new project would erase the previous one.

Why is the output a bool instead of int?
See p.190 in the S71200 Manual: cache.industry.siemens.com/dl/files/465/36932465/att_106119/v1/s71200_system_manual_en-US_en-US.pdf

why do you do this in ladder? why you do not do this in scl?
