    I think this episode was just a challenge to see if he could write the whole script without saying "bottleneck".

    So nice of you to slow down the speed of your aim training and say it’s sped up to make us feel better about ourselves ❤❤

    I feel like it's important when bringing up Tenz in relation to aim training that he basically was doing a high level aim training arc in CS before even touching Valorant. It'd probably be more equivalent to hitting elysian complete and then starting a new FPS game with similar mechanics to Valorant

    I am not an amazing aimer, diamond in both voltaic val aim and regular voltaic. However, I managed to climb up to immortal using the controller role. I've begun to notice as I progress into immo that my mechanical skill is starting to hinder me as I can't take the same engagements as the average duelist main and expect to come out on top. I'll prob try to shoot for asc complete as a goal for the time being. Great video

    I am VT Grandmaster which is more on the advanced level of mouse control, however my valorant rank is only asc3 peak. The problem lies in my decision making and the overconfidence. Just because I have high scores in aim trainers, I tend to peek everywhere and everyone in sub optimal situations, and thus I tend to die a lot. The aim of course is not a problem, but valorant is much more decision-making dependent.

    So if we are about diamond and ascendant and have limited time to play, and feel aim isn’t the biggest issue it’s probably better to focus on other things? Also I played in a dm with you a few days ago.

      If you have limited time to play, there's even more reason to aim train. Game sense is easily the more time consuming part of the game. It involves studying pros, vod-reviewing, and generally just playing a lot of games. If you're playing a limited amount of games per day, it's important to maximize the quality of those however much you can. The advantage to playing less games is you're gonna be a lot more consistent and you're gonna be able to put a lot more energy and mindfulness into each game. Make sure you are fully warmed up every session, even if it means you have less time to play actual ranked games. Be the IGL and comm like you're on adderall, take advantage of the fact that you're able to be fully engaged in every game. Other than that, as for aim training just try to keep it as quick and concise as possible. If you really care about Valorant and wanna see as much improvement as possible, some amount of aim training is absolutely required. Especially if you wanna keep up in the higher elo ranks.

    As someone who truly enjoys aim training and the score aspect of it i like playing towards a score thats why i like things like the voltaic and revosect benchmarks. I would say im at the intermediate level right around Dimond/Jade. In valorant though im gold. most people would think its because aimtrainers dont work but, its because i dont review my games and i hardly ever watch high lvl players. Eventhough i know how to vod review because ive done it before in OW Valorant is just really boring to watch sometimes.

      i guess atp it depends on what your priorities are. if you enjoy aim training more than valorant, just become an aim trainer main, go for those GM scores and such, however if you want to maximise the usage of your aim in valorant, keep aim training but make sure you play enough games of val. Get at least 500 hours in comp, focus on awareness and movement, and once those aspects are strong, you will be able to translate your raw aim way easier, and start dominating gold/plat lobbies off sheer mechs.

      same lmao I aim train as a hobby, hit Masters VT and recently hit Radiant complete in the VT Val benchmarks with a couple of Elysian and Aurora scores but still Diamond in Val because I can't be bothered to vod review or even think about why i died in the moment. I do think that aim training can teach you how to improve efficiently at other stuff though, I use the same process that I do in aim trainers also in various irl stuff to learn them significantly quicker than normal and I'm sure I could also do that in Val if I cared about the game that much

    • @Masa6x
      @Masa6x 4 місяці тому

      i personally could just never understand how you can regularly play a game like val, and just be okay with being bad and not improving your mistakes. Because clearly youre capable, like you said you use the same mindset that got you sick scores in aim trainers in other aspects, it really doesnt take m uch effort atp to hit at least immortal level game sense @@splaram

      @@Masa6x combination of horrific internet and FPS dips that actively fuck my aggressive, mechanics-heavy playstyle and ranked teammates that make me want to drive a railroad spike through my skull. I could play more passive and rely more on "gamesense" but that style isn't nearly as fun, and it fucks with my irl mood when I try to care while teammates don't so better to just not gaf
