- Hi friends in this video we discuss about how to get refund from make my trip if flight cancelled? If you have booked ticket from make my trip website or mobile app and your flight has cancelled by the airlines then you get flight cancellation refund from mmt. To know 'how to get refund for cancelled flight' from make my trip follow the following steps.
1. Go to make my trip mobile app and login with your id and password.
2. Click on 'trip' option. Now you will see your upcoming trips. Click on the trip.
3. You will see the details of your ticket. Now scroll down and you will find another option claim refund and you have to click on 'flight cancelled by airline' option.
4. Another option will appear 'filling special claim'. Click on 'yes proceed'.
5. In this page you have to select your flight for which you have to claim refund and click on 'review details'.
6. Again in this page read the refund policy, attach the screen shot of the massage received from airlines clicking on 'add attachment' and click on 'submit claim'.
7. A pop up window will appear select I agree and click on 'YES PROCEED'.
8. Now a massage will shown saying that 'claim successfully submitted'.
and you will get refund in 8-10 days.

You should wait for massage...but if you cancel the next flight from your end then cancellation charge will be deducted

Sir all options are disabled by mmt right now. How to contact them through mail? Any mail id where they listen to customer mails?

Sir my flight was cancelled due to operational reasons on 03.03.2020 i.e, before lockdown etc. the airline AIE has cancelled the ticket on 03.03.2020 and passed on the money through their invoice system. The airline again confirmed on 28.05.2020 confirming passing on money to MMT and advised me to claim from them only. But MMT is not just responding and when I go through the system advised the comment comes "flight departed no claim". The flight itself is cancelled and the MMT continues with the drama since last four and half months. I have even sent a letter with proofs through speed post which has been received by them one month back but still they are not refunding. Sir do you have any alternative methods to tackle them. Can you give their functional email.

The reschedule option is best.... Because MMT don't return money easily. My flight was cancelled on march 20. MMT show in my wallet in last month. I transferred it to my ac last month but I have not received money in my ac yet. You can not call, email MMT.

MMT is not helping people by receiving calls...so one should call airlines directly for refund. after they confirm your refund then send mail to MMT attaching the refund massage screen shots...you may have to wait sometimes.
@@digiworklife when you contact Airline their first question is whether the booking is DIRECT OR THROUGH AGENT. Once your answer is through AGENT they simply request to contact Make MYTRIP. The Airlines will not reveal whether they refunded to the agent. We have no other alternative
This is the actual problem mmt not answering anyone. Just send an email with the flight cancellation massage screenshot and wait until they update your booking. We should book ticket directly from airline site

The first thing is MMT is not helping anyone...you can't contact them now.....one thing you will get your money on your wallet... But it takes long long time. I got the money in my wallet after 8 months. I transferred it to my account but one month crossed the amount is not credited to my account yet..... Use the money to book flights while it reflect to your mmt wallet. .... Flight cancelled but if shows in completed....don't worry my trip was also shown as you.

I directly cancelled my booking with Go Air.They mailed me that shows amount refunded back to Mmt.Now Mmt is saying they will return my money in about 45 days only after giving them proof of refunded money to them by Go Air

@@digiworklife This is to confirm that we have received an offline cancellation request for MakeMyTrip Booking ID DD00XXXXYX00. Since the request is with reason " Flight Non Operational ", the same needs to be Confirmed with the airline for getting the exact refund amount.
Once the request is successfully validated with the AIRLINE, the refund will be processed in 21-45 working days. in case Airline denies any such request, there will be no refund.Thank you.

Contact airlines and receive the reschedule option to another date with paying the deference amount. You may receive credit voucher also. No refund will be given

Avi koi air company refund nahi de raha, woh yah toh credit voucher deta yah toh reschedule option or save for use the ticket amount for your next booking in the same airline

I booked spicejet flight on 27 March and it cancelled by airline due to lockdown. But there is no option to claim the request for refund .sir how did you get that option for refund

If ticket is booked you need to cancel your ticket. Then a charge of 3500 will be deducted..other will be refunded. But money deducted but ticket not booked then it will refund to your account automatically within 15 days

My name is Udaykumar R Mirani. My complaint is against MakeMyTrip.com airlines booking company in India. I booked return flight from Mumbai to NY by Makemytrip.com and flew as on 14th Feb 2020 to New York, but my return flight was cancelled to Mumbai by Kuwait Airlines due to COVID 19 as 31st March 2020. I requested Kuwait Airlines to reschedule the same as on 1st May 2020, but that was again cancelled due to govt restrictions on International flights. Then requested MMT to do the needful the refund my return flight money as Kuwait airlines is not operating till further notice. Meanwhile Kuwait Airlines assisted me that they would refund my money had I directly booked with them, but since it was an agent involved in between (MMT), I had to go back to MMT to ask for my refund of return airlines. I have requested MMT to refund and received email response ( attached ), but never received money back. I am still stocked up in USA since Feb 2020 and not been able to go back to India yet. I am employed with software MNC in Ahmedabad, but my company has also stopped paying me salary due to lock down and life has been measurable due to this airline cancellation. On the top of that, MMT is not even refunding my return money back.
I have attached my flight ticket, communication with Kuwait Airlines and MMT, but it’s been 6+ months there is no response by MMT ( neither via email, phone calls to customer care agents or chat ). All of their communication systems is stopped and only automated email / chat bot system operates misguiding customer. I am highly dissaappointed with MMT and want to challenge them in consumer court. There are plenty of such cases one can witness over various internet blogs complaining about MMT flight refund money. MMT must be punished for their unethical business. Please help.

Contact MMT directly....if your flight cancelled by airlines then you will get the amount but MMT take more times
