Patty seems like a great leader on field, you'd definitely want someone like him on your team, awesome stuff mate

To be able to put in all that that he's known for but still be able to think, see, and communicate like that is incredible. His fitness is next level.

yeah 100% i think was captin for abit last year before unfortunately got injured but yeah for a young man really showing alot of leadership and its just every game jst gets better and better and who knows might find himself playing for australia this year

It's clear as day having fellas like him on the pitch have really helped the boys find a winning attitude over the past few months, love to see it
My favourite part is when he runs into every melee and runs his mouth behind players and has not been involved in one single fight. Look at leaders like Lockyer, Slater or Cronk. They were the first ones to pull other players into line and just got on with it.

I'm a NSW through and through and despise the Broncos. But man what a player Patty Carrigan. This guy sounds like a veteran of the game and the work he puts in week in and week out is to be applauded. What an asset to his team.

Agree. Well done to Fox Sports. Brilliant insight into how well co-ordinated a team is. Its also indicative of how invested a player is, particularly defensively. I know this clip was cut off but would have liked Benji and Kieran to interject more often.

It's no wonder our middles are running through brick walls when you've got your forwards leader chirping in your ear the whole game whilst leading from the front by running ridiculous metres and tackling everything that moves. That's the kind of player you want to play with and play for. The last few years and the challenges they've faced as a unit has really matured our young lads alot, and then to add players like Capewell and Rendiggity to give guidance, calm, leadership and assistance to players like Carro & Haas in effort areas and around the park, it's becoming clear why we've been having such an immense year so far. Long may it continue, and hopefully we can keep Carro long term and continue to build our roster and club around players like him, because he's the kind of player that breeds success and is the mould for the kind of player you want to see come through and formulate the DNA of the club.

Carrigan has definitely taken his game to another level and that is so hard to do off the back of an ACL injury, definitely deserves all the praise he gets.
Loved seeing him constantly chatting too and lifting the team. He's definitely going to be sole captain in the future.

Even in his origin debut during half time in the dressing shed, was expecting one of the senior players to be doing the talking but it was patty laying down the laws during that half time break and everyone was was paying attention and listening to him.. future great leader.

id missed players getting mic'd up, id remember they did a thing for on the couch with sterlo i think and you get player like thurston, willie mason, peter wallace etc and it was a very good insight and pretty good from a players perspective, i kinda wanna hear the coaches get micd up or something like they did with brad arthur maybe with bellamy but all you hear is F;;; \, s&&& haha but yeah also love this show benji really loving it bro!!!!!
