Vietnamese folks are really friendly and hospitable as long as you smile and know a few words you’ll do fine but in any country there’s always the good and bad. Hope y’all could travel more parts of Vietnam you’ll be very surprised how cheap everything and how much you can get for your money plus the food is awesome.
Bro just came across your video and enjoyed every minute… we traveled through South Asian just this summer…. So we know and understand the feeling…. Cool to watch y’all content and experience
@Melanated4ever they will stare and sneak photos. Some people will walk up to you and ask for photos. It’s one of those things that i had to kinda get used to. If you get mad from it, you will be angry your WHOLE trip, cause trust me, its going to happen… Everyday.
@@Melanated4everAy bro! Dont let it discourage you. Im Vietnamese born overseas and they do the same! its not a race thing its that we are different to them and most times they think you are a celeb or someone of value. Its all respect in Vietnam fr! If you show respect theyll show right back. But dont take it as racism! 🙏🏻 a lot of Vietnamese never left the country as the country has been in war for 100 years and they have finally seen peace and other races, Its just curiosity 🙏🏻
Hi Nico, this is Diane ( nail tech). Your mom told me that you are in vn right now. Did you enjoy it so far? I will be there 10/11 but arriving at 12th. Hope to see you in VN.
Great video Nico. I know everyone talks about drinking Vietnamese ice coffee with condense milk, rightfully so since it's so good and they do kick Starbuck's ass, but you should take advantage of buying and drinking fruit smoothie and fruit juices in VN. Great value, all real fruit. The amount of real fruit in their juice is so much. And they're refreshing as hell.
FYI - that liquid/sauce you thought could be sugar cane is actually nuoc mam. It's made from fermented fish and is a clear amber liquid. It's normally mixed with things like ginger, thai chilis, lime, vinegar, and other stuff for the rice noodle dishes
@@nico_outside Probably a little sugar, but depending on the local recipe, it could be different things. I've even seen sprite mixed in and some areas probably sweeten it with something made from sugar cane.
if yall staying there couple days or wherever yall go, yall can rent a bike to drive around, yall don't have to walk. It's pretty cheap, cost around 5 dollars a day, depends on what bike you rent.
Yea, our hotel offers daily rentals and also golf cart type of things but when we are going somewhere close, we just walk it. We are definitely renting some transportation for the longer distances.

Walking everywhere in Vietnam will make you lose weight pretty quick. I did that long time ago. I love your real interactions with Vietnamese people.
