well done. everybody else misses the normal relief matte 1922 and focus on the high relief, even though 'normal' is considered in the high relief group. cool. i just found one.
I have been collecting for a little while now. This vid was interesting even tho it’s 3 years old now lol. I have. 1928 P which is my favorite of my collection. I’m getting somewhat close to completing the set, but still have a decent bit of key dates to acquire, but am making strides. Just got a clean 25 S, 27 S. Also 23 D and 26 D proofs. Plus i have one of each year besides 1921. The fun part is searching for worthy options of the year or mints i don’t have.
Having a complete date set in ms65 or better i can see the jumps for one number higher or even just a plus,my 65+ 1921 is worth $3500 but its in the middle of a conserve and regrade that could push it up to ms66 and then go from $3500 to $5000 or more....my ms65 1928 p is $3000 and a half point bump can take it to $8000.
I enjoyed the video, it's just a shame I have no one who shares my hobbie so I can't share it otherwise all my contacts would have had this shared and so many more I'd probably be blocked, thanks for putting this video together, I've liked few others you have done too so until the next one, take care.
@@TreasureTownCoins Hi Treasure town, thanks for the reply I am very happy, you are so very welcome too. Take the best of care and stay safe Sincerely Danny
David Gilbarte just got my first one , I have so many pieces of different silver but man the peace dollar is not only my favorite coin or silver piece its my all time fave now man they’re so nice and I got mine off eBay I got lucky and only paid $11 but most go for over $20
Patsy Harper, your 1878 might be worth $1, $5, $10 and so on because to know the value you must grade the silver dollar first. Grading costs a lot of money that's why most people prefer selling their coins at a bargaining price. There are tones of fake silver dollars out there and you might surprised to learn that your silver dollar is worth nothing after spending your money. Collectors don't buy ungraded coins and the prices you see on the videos are not real, but they are prices at the auction houses where the price depends on the importance the collector (buyer) gives to the coin. You will never see this kind of high price at coins' stores. I have purchased some dollar coins from individual at a bargaining price and it is a great risk I took because those dollar coins are not graded to see whether they are fake or real; or whether they have zero quality (grading). Again don't be fooled by these videos. If you have your coin or coins you want to sell, just decide your own price and you will negotiate with the buyer. You know how you got it and you can still profit.
Sniper Lem, before you sell your silver dollar you must grade it first because there are fake silver dollars out there. And grading costs a lot of money and you might be surprised to find out that your peace dollar is worth nothing. That's why most people don't take the risk to go through grading. They would prefer selling their dollar coins at a reasonable price to people who want them. Collectors don't buy ungraded coins. I am not a collector, but I have directly purchased some dollar coins from people at a reasonable price. It is a risk I took because some, or all might not be real, and they might have zero quality (grading). Prices you see on the videos are not real, but they are from the auction houses where price depends on the value the buyer (collector) gives to the coin. You will never see this kind of price in coins' stores.
Celso Camba, what kind of coin is your 1 dollar 1923? Is it a peace dollar too? Where are you from (City/Country)? You know there are many kinds of dollar coins.
ESMAIL SIAWAN, let's talk about your 1921 and 1922 peace dollars because I might buy them. Remember that the prices of coins you see in the videos are not real. They are based on the auction houses where the price depends on the buyer (collector) gives to the coin. Those coins are also graded before they sell because there are a lot of fake dollar coins out there. You will never see this kind of price you see in auction houses at coins' stores. Let's talk.
