- All Tricker's footwear is Goodyear welted, and in this video you can learn all about it, the process, and the people involved at the Tricker's factory.
Due to the construction method, Goodyear welting means that it is much easier to resole a Goodyear welted shoe because the welt acts as a buffer between the insole and the outsole.

There's something about seeing these old machines, in an old building, with master craftsmen handling tools, leather, and hot wax, that screams quality.
You can't describe the pleasure of putting on a pair of Trickers shoes.
You walk taller and feel so different, the pleasure is addictive.

I’ve had Trickers shoes for years. They do indeed exude quality and craftsmanship and this comes across in the wearing. I’ve had shoes resoled at the factory and they do come back looking excellent. The Jermyn Street shop staff know and care for the product and this always comes over when you visit the shop. Well done Trickers!

This concept of choosing lasting quality is so rare nowadays. This shoes makes no sense at all ...and at the same time it so does. This choice is for smart people, quiet unpopular among the mainstream.
Tricker’s footwear is made entirely from start to finish at our Northampton factory and, whilst manufacturing processes have changed over time, our craftspeople continue to follow the traditional techniques.
Why do they keep saying a Well??? A well is for getting water.
Hmm, it's almost like people living in various geographic regions develop a series of pronunciations and affectations unique to their region, passed down through generations of reinforcement. Woah, I wonder what that term is called....🙄
