Good to see the old woodyard once again!! The super splitter is so easy and consistent it is almost mesmerizing. I will be picking up my Ultratec trailer at the Bunyan show from Bob Nelson on Friday, enjoying the show on Saturday and leaving on Sunday. See you there!!

I really like my Axis, but I do miss at times my SS with the electric motor. Split a fair bit indoors with it and the lack of noise was great.

One of the great things about the SS is how quiet it is. You can run it at low rpm much different than a hydro

I agree. It took me a while to confirm it as apple mostly bc of the straightness of the log

Hi Joe, when the Super Split is not able to split a log in one stroke, once the ram is retrieved, wait two or tree seconds for the flywheels to get back up to speed and you will only need to hit that log one more time. My father purchased a Super Split in the late 70's and had it for about 25 years before he sold it to another guy who processed firewood. What an awesome machine! Keep up the great work!

There is something nice about watching someone else splitting fire wood hahahah. many years ago we had about 2 acres of very large old apple trees to clear some of the trunks were a good 18 inches through, guess whos job it was to split all that lot by hand, took me years to do , but apple sure burns nice and it was free. I could only dream of a machine like that.

I've only cut and split one apple tree that my neighbors wanted taken down. The grain on that tree was as twisted as elm. I'm still not convinced that is apple. You cut 17 rounds without a much of a sign of a fork. At 16" long per round that puts the crown of the tree at least 22 ft off the ground. Grain is also way too straight to resemble any apple I've ever encountered. Barks too thin and smooth. All traits that are extremely rare in an apple tree. Thanks for letting me express my doubts.

I just used it yesterday on a tall shrub at my house. I keep it there. Still works fine. I did drop the battery and it seems to have affected its storage however

I don’t think SuperSplit can be blamed for the debris. The juvenile wood in that fruit tree was flaking apart. 👍

Paint aline on your bar to measure sixteen inches. Seems like you hang onto the log too long as it gets split. And holding it in place on the round side instead of laying it flat side down. And I don't see the super splitter with honda engines now.

its more comfortable to hold with the flat side up. When I vid I also change somethings so I don't block the camera
