I think that's more in reference to the original "canon" story, where instead of the Crusaders forcing him to bend to their wills, he instead makes the choice after his battle with Pet Shop to join and fight alongside them as equals. He wasn't controlled since he was fighting with them of his own free will, and was never tamed (even till the end, he did what he wanted and saved Polnareff despite Polnareff himself even stating he shouldn't have done that, a move that would go on to have serious effects on Vento Aureo whose heroes Iggy never met outside of EoH).
And I thought that this game was the first to let you play as a dog, a bird, humans, Piller Men and vampires... then I remembered Tobal 2, but without the Piller Men and vampires.
Its funny hearing the other characters say part 4 Jotaro looks older and that part 3 Jotaro looks younger when in reality most fans agree that part 4 looks younger while part 3 looks older.
