Being 50 and coming from a different era as a Carlton supporter, Terry it's interesting to hear your journey so far. There used to be a common Carlton slogan back in the dry "Carlton arrogance" lol..there would always be big signs saying that around the ground, similar to the "coll-ing-wooood" chants these days lol. Even out very club dong has an air of arrogance about it, and with good reason! We have been the benchmark of the competition for a very long be time.
Do as odd as it is for you to see Csrltin winning, can you even begin to grasp how bizarre it was for Carlton supporters to go thru the last 30:years? Even though it's been so very long,bothered actually an air of familiarity for done of us older baggers serong us dominate again like we did against Geelong last week..

Btw in 1995, Carlton lost in respective games to St Kilda and Swans, my guess is round 10 and 11, without a loss thereafter.
Both those teams we lost to, finished bottom of the ladder. NEVER EVER assume or abandon.
If we can reproduce that quality and positive decisiveness against the Tigers, embedding the belief, solidifying our terms by “don’t arguing” our way to gracefully humiliating Richmond in a breathtaking performance, like last week, we could create a new record, how many opposition coaches, unwillingly have to praise our performance, given at no time during the match, we allowed “a sniff” by them to challenge…at least 5 coaches will do so at end of H&A…hmmm l might check Sportsbet for odds 😂😂
I definitely think people are underestimating the Tigers, we saw them bring it against Essendon and us in round 1. In saying that I’m confident if we play our best footy we will win. Go get it done boys 💪🏻💙
They are a bottom 2 side who have only won 2 games for a reason. I respect the opponent but where the 2 teams are at the moment, we should be dismantling them
If our attention is not squarely focused on the Tigers this week we will be 5 goals down in a flash.
It’s So important to remain grounded and focused on the next opposition.
With a strong leadership group headed by Cripps I dont think we will get ahead of ourselves - not from the abyss these players and the coaches have emerged from.
I expect a difficult game this week against the Tigers. And a contest is what we want each week - we are very good in the area. Was there any other way that Voss graced the field as a player?

Never underestimate Richmond and Dusty, especially if they are playing us.
But anything but a comfortable win at this stage is failure. We are just so good and they have so many injuries.
Have to consider shoe horning some of our players a game. So much better than looking for players to come back in😊
Bring Pittonet in to give TDK a breather. He can rest forward half the game while still keeping his eye in. Regardless of all the salivating over what "The King" has been doing, Pittonet is still one of the best tap artists in the game and improves our scoring out of the center (I know that's one of my hobby horses). Bring the same level of pressure we've been doing and this is a nice win. but I hope Voss makes sure the boys run the game out and don't sit back and coast if it becomes a rout early on, as that's such an important habit to develop for the post-season, never mind maintaining the fitness needed. Notice how we didn't go into prevent mode for a second against Geelong. (Mustn't mention percentage....mustn't mention percentage....thinking about percentages is for losers.) I want to demoralize this mob early. No injuries, please.

We got relegated out of prime time cause the AFL are concerned we are due to decimate and humiliate a wounded bygone favourite.
A repeat of the standard of play, reinforcing the ferocity, unforgiving and impenetrable quality of football, like last week is vital reinforcement to the entire psyche of our club and will hopefully disengage all the meaning, whinging and doomsayers who call themselves supporters.
Our authority will be inflicted immediatly, constantly and with a surge that wipes any hope of catch up, into oblivion by end of 2nd to beginning of 3rd Q…having the rest of the game to practice some of our trick passes, kicks from opposing legs or just to rest a couple of the boys from the record number of brutal tackles and “don’t argues” they dished out prior…Blues by 54pts
