    What's your take on Node-Red? I kinda find it a whole lot easier and a better GUI.

    this is very interesting project, I saw the first one and very useful. On this project i did not see the schematic diagram. Do you plan to put the diagram on you website?

    Mark,
    What are the chances that you'll have a garage door opener coming out in the future?
    Thanks!

      LOL!
      Actually, I was really looking (hoping for?) for a PCB that had a single relay on it, that could be used to open the garage door. (The Sonoff is my next choice, but it still requires an AC input for power.)
      Apologies for not making that more clear.
      My intentions are to move away from cloud based devices... TOTALLY. An ESP based Thermostat is next!
      Rob

    Can this be powered by a 5V 1A iPhone Adapter? Also, how does this integrate with Homebridge and/or Home Assistant?

    so if i have a fire detectors that can be linked out of the box with other fire detectors, i just need to wire one fire detector the discribed way and it will work ? Am i understanding this correctly ?

    • @MKSmartHouse
      @MKSmartHouse  7 років тому

      +Fred Zibulski All you have to do with this device is tap into the red and white wire of the fire detectors.

    I am just wondering that how your WiFi is able to reach the most closed area without losing its range ? and that too in every area of your house and every corners.
    what if your WiFi fails for some reason then you go all blind ? just wondering

    • @MKSmartHouse
      @MKSmartHouse  7 років тому

      +Clinton Mattler No, because then I would have to run Ethernet cables all over my house and make holes and stuff
