It's 11:30pm here, so the rest of my day is just the 5 minutes cleaning my teeth before going to bed. Now I feel oddly ripped off! You get a whole 16 hours of "have a great rest of your day", whereas I only get a measly 5 minutes. No fair ;-) I guess I'll have to just watch it again in the morning.

Yeah punisher is the best. Nothing beats the CPR continue screen. Also where is Cadillacs and Dinosaurs?

Yeah, I'm sure it's no coincidence that all of the games in this collection are Capcom's own IPs. I'd imagine getting the rights to Alien or Punisher would just be too expensive for a pretty niche title that probably won't sell more than some tens of thousands of copies.
This bundle is SO ME!! I cant get into most big AAA games these days. These games are awesome , pick up and play arcade action. Just my cup of tea.
Warriors of Fate is a sequel to Dynasty Wars and are both based on the manga Tenchi wo Kurau by Hiroshi Motomiya - which also spawned the game Destiny of an Emperor (the game is known as Tenchi wo Kurau II - Shukumei no Tatakai). Also, I remember playing Armored Warriors with my friends every Halloween, which in fact that game is the first appearance of the mechs that later famous in Cyberbots Full Metal Madness.
Capcom made a Tenchi wo Kurau game for Famicm also
the japanese version yah the english version they changed them all to monoglians and made up a story though

I recently sold Tenchi wo Kurau II for Saturn and it was a tough choice and a bit regretful, but now that I can get it here I don't regret it at all. Im glad we are finally getting some of these lost treasures from the 90's on modern console.

A must have game for retro fans with a Switch. I bought mine on release day with no regrets.

Bought on Switch at release day digital download. Probably my #1 Switch game. Particularly KoD co-op.
Never had an input lag issue on Switch

God a Konami Beat Em Up Collection With TMNT Arcade, TMNT lV Turtles In Time, X-Men, The Simpsons, and Sunset Riders with online play for all of them would be AMAZING!!!!!!
There was a period of time where the Turtles Arcade was purchasable before it was pulled for licensing issues, but X-Men and Simpsons are still available (afaIk) on virtual markets.
The Konami beat 'em ups just aren't that great. Capcom was way better at making them.
Vendetta, probably the best one, would just get the lame censored version in a re-release.

Just as an aside, if anyone's wondering where Capcom's two Dungeons & Dragons beat-em-ups are, they were re-released on last-gen consoles as a package called Dungeons & Dragons: Chronicles of Mystara. And it's still available from Steam.
Yep it was free game for 360 a couple years ago. I had no idea it was out until I saw it for free.
Weren't those released on the Saturn as well, way back when?

Final Fight was also released on the Xbox 360 on the Capcom Digital Collection disc.
There was a Japanese ps3 physical release of both dungeons and dragons games that most people don't know of.
I bought this one for the Switch. So much fun playing in handheld mode. Great video.

Great review! Honestly, I've had this bundle since the week after launch. And I never even tried Armorer Warrior and gave it a honest shot. Battle Circuit and Knights of the Round co-op is sheer fun and took most of my time. Glad to see it's the one you recommended so now I feel like i'm missing out lol. Definitely will be playing that one when I get off.
Now if only Konami can release Ninja Turtles and Simpsons

Capcom Beat 'Em Up Bundle is a compilation that collects the arcade versions of seven beat 'em ups from Capcom:
Final Fight (1989)
Captain Commando (1991)
The King of Dragons (1991)
Knights of the Round (1991)
Warriors of Fate (1992)
Armored Warriors (1994)
Battle Circuit (1997)
Each of the seven games includes the option to play the English or Japanese version of the game. In addition, all of the games support online multiplayer. This release marks the first home console releases for both Armored Warriors and Battle Circuit.
The other arcade versions of other beat 'em ups from Capcom are not included in this that could've been listed:

Cadillacs and Dinosaurs (1992)
The Punisher (1993)

I bought this on release day and was disappointed there were no screen filters. Now it’s been updated it’s a much better package. A must buy for classic beat em up fans.

Here's a piece of advice for those not familiar with Capcom beat'em ups: down, up + attack. King of Dragons and Captain Comando should be the only exceptions in the bundle.
Whoever made their screen name "Trash Boat" at 0:54 is a damn good person.
lack of Punisher, Cadillacs and Alien vs Predator is a HUGE shame, and there aren't any reworked OST, cool filters or galleries like Final Fight: Double Impact had. Online multiplayer is nice, but it feels a little bit overpriced.
I think Cadillacs&Dinosaurs is best Campcom beat`em up.

@@nohomers100 they're amazing O_O AvP is probably my favorite of the bunch, but they're all solid beat'em ups. The Genesis port of The Punisher, ain't too bad, except for the obvious downgrade of graphics and such, and the fact that you'll only see the true ending of the game when beating it on Hard Mode. ^^

Still wondering if the Switch version is okay I know online had issues but I don't really for that I don't play online on the Switch .
Wow! This looks awesome! I love that there are Japan-only games. It's always been hard to find good arcade ports of non-SF arcade games from the 90's onwards, so this will be an inevitable pick-up for me eventually.

I wish they could have included more 3-4 player Co-op beat -um -up games like, the Combatribes 3 player arcade game, The Battletoads 3 player arcade version, The X-Men arcade game 4 player, and maybe The Simpsons 4 Player arcade game too. Besides Final Fight, the only other game I liked in this bundle was the warrior game with the horse. I know that Capcom doesn't make all those beat em up games I listed, but it still would be really nice to play them all again. I miss the old days of playing in the arcades.

I found vol 1 n 2 of the Capcom collection for $4 each on PSP at my local 2nd hand store the other day! Was so stoked! Got them on Xbox n PS2, though the 360 one u need to go online for it but still awesome, love Capcom. I'll b getting the Switch hard copy forsure!

I love this on my Switch. I haven’t played most of these games before and I was missing out. Online is a little shady on Switch but still so worth it.

This is already on my Steam wishlist. Armored Warriors and Battle Circuit were my favorites since they were arcade exclusives that were only playable via emulation. The only issue with this bundle is that Aliens vs Predator, The Punisher and Cadillacs and Dinosaurs are missing. The D&D beat-em-ups also got their collection on Steam, might get it ASAP.

King of Dragons has definitely been my jam this summer. Played through with all the classes. Brilliant blend of beat em up action, fast pacing and awesome handling of light rpg elements.
Just curious. If you don't mind me asking. Did you credit feed it and play it that way? Or did you take the time to learn it?

I disagree with the captain command part. In the arcade version you have hidden places and more possibilities, like killing the enemy and it become something different according to the player you are using

Sega needs to drop an arcade compilation too. Shinobi, Outrun, Outrunners, After Burner, Space Harrier, Hang-On, Daytona USA, Virtual-On, Virtua Fighter, Crazy Taxi, Altered Beast, Golden Axe, Moonwalker, Super Monaco GP, Sega Rally, Thunder Blade, Die-Hard Trilogy, Star Wars Arcade and more all on one disc would be fuckin epic! Shit, and throw in a few bonus games from each of their consoles too. Instant seller!

Trying to find an old beat em up.
Late 90s - early 2000s era I think. Possibly by Capcom, Namco or Konami. Maybe some other company. I played it on PS1 or PS2.
It's set in what I believe was an Japanese or American High School. It's characters are focused around sports based combat such as someone using a baseball bat, a volleyball, football etc. It's kind of anime based (didn't even know what anime was at the time) and was 3d.
OMG I want it. I love "Final Fight," the other games look great too.

i got this on the switch shorty after it was put on the eshop. i really like armored warriors, the king of dragons, and knights of the round. the others are all good in their own right but i really liked these a lot.

King of Dragons is one of my Favorites. I dont know if its just nostalgia but I used to rent this game all the time. I had it on psp and now I got it on switch.
I got Capcom Classics Vols 1 & 2 on XBox (the original), and Captain Commando, Final Fight, King of Dragons and Knights of the Round are there. I would recommend either. And, if you are in the RPG beat-em-up mood, grab Dungeons and Dragons Chronicles of Mystara on XBox, PS Store and Steam. You won't be disappointed.

But King of Dragons is reason enough for me! One of my favorite games ever! And getting an arcade perfect port of Final Fight is great!
Does anyone have a problem on ps4 with this game when trying to pause? I can only get the menu by pushing the home button or the share button. The start button is greyed out in the menu controls.

I wish I had the money to buy you a switch. I don't know why but I think you'd like it. I almost never play big AAA titles but lots of indies and this kind of compilations and it lends itself perfectly.

Anything couch co-op is a win with me. As I grow older it vet's ever more difficult to find people to play with, so having the option when the situation arises is great :D
