Does DP impact your long term memory after you recovered? As in, can you recall your life before DP with no issues?

You can recall things normally, like you could before you had DPDR.

i don’t know how to accept it, it’s hard, it never leaves my mind, it’s there 24/7 and i wish i could just accept it and not fear it.

Acceptance is hard and it takes trial and error. Consider checking out The Freedom Course where I have videos going into detail about this.

Sometimes i feel bad that i was clueless for over 10years, with dpdr 24/7 always looking for symptoms especially when i wake up, etc i made so many mistakes that just fueled it. But i guess better late than never

i understand everything but i still i’m afraid if i can do the difference between reality and my actual stage 😢 i have forgot how is to feel normal anymore

That's the issue - there is no difference - everything is your reality right now and this is your normal at the moment. Once you accept that, you'll stop worrying about it and start to make progress and things will eventually get back to how you were before all this began.

Is there a way to know for sure if you have DPDR? I did a little bit of research and recognized that a lot of the symptoms sound very familiar to me. I told my parents about my concerns and if I could talk to someone about it, and they just laughed and said that I was fine, and that people who have real mental disorders are so impacted that they basically just live in a vegetative state.
I don't know if I actually have this disorder or not, but I know that whatever's going on has impacted my life severely; I can't remember 95% of my senior year of high school (which just ended); I was unable to make any friends throughout the entirety of high school because any time I'm in a conversation, my mind goes entirely blank, so no one ever wanted to talk to me; I'm not fully aware of my body most of the time; the world seems slightly dull and undetailed and almost 2D most of the time; I can barely recognize my face and body as my own; and I can hardly find motivation to do anything ever, because it "isn't my life". It truly feels as though I'm in some sort of purgatory, like my life isn't my own.
And I'm terrified of going to college if I do have this disorder and it remains unaddressed, because I really want to go to medical school and to make friends with every person I meet but it seems more likely at this rate that none of that can come true.
Please help, any advice would be MUCH appreciated 😞

From what you describe it sounds like DPDR, but go to a doctor to rule out anything physical. The comment from your parents was pretty bad, and totally untrue - as you start to get to the root of your anxiety and process it the symptoms will start to lift.
