Agreed 💯 Their tiny "doll house" brush is what keeps me from purchasing from them. And I LOVE their colors, but that tiny brush is just too small for my taste.

What do you think about a water-based (aka no-smudge) top coat like what's used over stamped designs?? Thanks much!
Cool collection from Cirque! Always have time for their jellies (❤the purple), yet the star for me is that foil kit. Perfect 'lazy person nail art' , so it's def. a kit for me 😂

Hi Kelli, just wondering if you've ever tried MoonCat nail polish, or would you try it & review it. I've been thinking about trying it but would love to see what it's like before buying. Thank you. ☺️

Hi Kelli - any staining after removing the yellow creme polish? I had a bad experience with another brand's yellow polish which terribly stained my natural nails. And have since stayed away from yellow polishes.
I didn’t think I would like the color story, but seeing you combining them and using them I definitely get the appeal. I wish they also did a yellow jelly because there aren’t that many magnetic yellow polishes (if any) and making a sandwich with that silver magnetic polish would be very cool. Thanks as always for the review!!
They actually have a really gorgeous yellow jelly from last year that's got a milky coloring to it and it looks similar to the tone of Nirvana! It's called Citron Jelly!!
I almost got the black jelly, but then I remembered I already have 3 😅, which includes your collab with ORLY 😃 The other 2 I have are from zoetic nails (they have an Etsy shop) and MDJ Creations (also on Etsy). I can’t remember right off the top of my head, but one of them is definitely a sheerer black than the other two. Not gonna lie, although almost half the polishes are some of my go-to polish colors, I don’t really feel the need to get basically any of them this release. But now I see All Nighter in its full glory, so thanks a bunch for these swatches! I was wondering what the difference was between All Nighter and ILNP’s Love Triangle, and now I see they’re very distinguishable. To me they look more like mini shards instead of flakes or glitter, imo (I think their description calls it glitter). Gotta have some of those bling bling nails 🤑 hahahaha Also, I love yellow nail polish, so I was excited about Nirvana, but their mini swatch video was only 2 coats, which was still patchy, and that made me shy away from it. Seriously, this was super helpful!
Ooooh these are nice, and I love the combination of Bitten & All Nighter! I've also really gotten into jellies, but my biggest question is, how do you get them to not shrink? I've tried a couple of different top coats & always have shrinkage by the next day. Maybe no quick-dry top coat? But then there's the agony of waiting lol. Oh and I've got the new Cirque brushes on my desk right now, ready to pop them into bottles - soooooo glad they came out with these!
For foils, if you do a water-based topcoat first followed by a regular topcoat the foils will not wrinkle. I bet a transparent peel-off basecoat would work as a barrier before topcoating as well.
Ooh I think it's a step in the right direction for Cirque to start selling separate wide brushes! It's a shame that they dont have the usual cream- colored clicky caps though 😭 and a review says that the new brushes don't fit in the old caps :(
It sucks how much Cirque is charging for their new wide round/paddle brush replacements. Apparently G&G and Kbshimmer wide round/paddle brush replacements will fit in the Cirque bottles if you replace the caps with them and it's like 25 cents to 50 cents per brush replacement. Way more reasonably priced in my opinion.
@Harlow_Khmer Agreed! If Cirque could find paddle brushes to fit the old caps and just sold those, they ought to be cheap. I actually just bought a bunch of KBShimmer's paddle brushes hoping to replace the Cirque brushes, but they don't fit :/ the whole cap does fit, but I just can't bear to get rid of the original Cirque caps haha :P
@@arctic2921 ya that's the only downside is you'll have to change the cap also. I never liked Cirque Colors simply because of their thin brush haha. I love Orly brushes and Loud Lacquer brushes. I just notice a little difference with them and the quality. I wish I could replace everything with Orly style brushes and their amazing rubbery cap.
@@arctic2921 I swap them but have kept all the Cirque caps! I’m hoping that at some point there will be a solution where I can swap the clicky caps back in… otherwise I’m hoarding caps for no reason. 🤣
When using foil glue over light coloured nail polish, you won't easily be able to see when it dries clear so set a timer for atleast 5 minutes then apply foil. The glue doesn't dry so you have loads of time to apply the foil, even if you wait for 10+ minutes. If you're having issues with foils, wait longer for the glue to dry and use a water-based topcoat or UV gel topcoat to finish.
OMG TAKE ALL MY MONEY!! I can’t get the cat eye effect, you first done. I dunno what I’m doing wrong. I need the foils and the cat eye one. I bet I can’t get them in the UK 😢

Don't like the whole collection, but 'Bitten Jelly' is beautiful and the jelly sandwich with the magnetic polish was a pleasant surprise! I have to experiment with the jellys and magnetic polishes that I already have!
This is a very pretty collection, TFS. I don’t know if it’s just me, but my jellies seem to take an eternity to dry, so it takes forever to do a jelly sandwich. I then end up ruining my nice sandwich because I don’t have the patience to let it dry fully. I find for that reason I don’t use my jelly polishes and am hesitant to add any more to my collection. Would love to know if it’s just me…
I love these polishes and your experimentation. I would be totally down for a follow up video! I am a fanfic fan. I've been writing fic for half my life. I love how you thought so reflectively because I get squirelly when non fannish people discuss fic. I totally understand why you're not interested because I'm the exact opposite of you - except for that 'non-canon vibe. I too find stories that are out of character hard to digest. But my boundaries of' non-canon have widened considerably.
FANFIC REC: If you've played Stardew Valley you'll get better context but honestly it's such a great story you can do without. "For a Long Time Looking at Stars" by GingerD. It's hosted on AO3, that I know of, but might be available somewhere else. Both characters have experienced trauma and it gets steamy towards the end so be aware of that, but it's definitely not the weird kind of fic.
I honestly couldn't say for sure, a lot of brands say they support the community and do pride collections as a way to get more customers but the only nail brand I know of that donates money to LGBTQIAP+ causes is Cirque! I'm sure there are others who do, but it's hard to know which are just marketing to queer consumers and which are actually financially supporting.
Cirque used to be my favourite brand, but honestly I start falling out of love with them because all they seem to release recently are jellies. I hate jellies, I honestly don't get the appeal. Love my polish opaque! And speaking of jelly/opaque... I think even for a jelly the black one is really, really sheer. It cozld've used some more pigment in it. I don't think Cirque have released anything really exciting for me personally in a very long time. And even as someone who always looks forward to the Vice collection, I was pretty dissapointed from it last year... ☹️
Thanks for the foil demo...I was wondering how that worked! And yes, please do a comparison swatch video on this black jelly vs. your ORLY collab.

Hmm, it should work in theory but I'm not sure how much of the color will shine through haha!
Don't like the whole collection, but 'Bitten Jelly' is beautiful and the jelly sandwich with the magnetic polish was a pleasant surprise! I have to experiment with the jellys and magnetic polishes that I already have!
Is there any way to keep the foil from scrunching up? Or would you just have to use chrome powder for a smooth finish?
Using a water based top coat might prevent from scrunching, or you could in theory skip the top coat but the mani probably won't last as long!
How are you able to do such thick coats and are still able to get it to dry? What’s the secret?
I actually do regular coats! It just looks like a lot of product because it's a close up haha 😅
Would love to know if it’s just me…
Same!!
Hey Kelli 👋!
These are pretty! I just can’t get past cirque prices 😬

Wow! I need to watch your makeup tutorials! #marissahasskillz
Please do more Jelly sandwiches 😊
Okay! 😁
The foil won’t wrinkle if you top it with a water based top coat before applying your quick drying top coat.
Good tip!
Yes to a comparison video!
Also, will you be able to tell us which brands support the lgbtq+ community?
I honestly couldn't say for sure, a lot of brands say they support the community and do pride collections as a way to get more customers but the only nail brand I know of that donates money to LGBTQIAP+ causes is Cirque! I'm sure there are others who do, but it's hard to know which are just marketing to queer consumers and which are actually financially supporting.
@@KelliMarissa thank you for the info! 🫶🏻
I like jelly looks but I hate sheer product

Hehe coming soon!!
