This route is really amazing ... speaking of these roads, itne pathar bajte rehte hain na bashplate par, some times its really different, the way tyres sink into the sand... right from the time you start from Hanle. The best times one can have on all these off roads ... very inspiring video for many of us.
I was so doubtful about my ability to to manage sandy patches on stock tyres of my tiger , but in the end managed decently without any fall on sand .. Such rides help in building confidence.. And obviously this was such an amazing route .

When I did this route in 21, the Loma-Chushul route was even more raw. No direction, no people, nothing. But when I did the same route again in 23, there were roads being prepared. I'm sure by 25, this will be all tarmac.
I agree , road works is now being done here big time .. Anyways Loma Chushul is becoming very mainstream now ..but still has an amazing feel .

Everything we were seeing is visible to High tech cameras China has placed everywhere on their side. They can even see the brand name of my riding jersey..
Still, you're lucky it's China that's on your border... Russia (that was once called Muskovy) is more expansionist..🧐 That would have been worse..
No need to talk about bunkers and even showing radars while entering demchok! Be little sensitive about these things!
I understand your concern. But to be practical, everything thats visible to us tourists is already visible to folks beyond the border through super High res Cameras..
