Stunning footage of just the most beautiful yet desolate place in the world....used to love trudging through the Kimberley's and in general NW West Aus, the storms visible from miles and for hours....used to make night driving all the more tolerable. Beautiful video.

Obviously, conditions are frequently optimal for maximum thunderstorm development.
To chase storms in a area without the monsoon conditions not being optimal, Would be counter to what i am doing.

Can anyone tell me why Australia has such intense lightning?
Hot cold dry wet, Desert and tropical , Lots here is like that and the difference between areas is obvious , Sometimes even areas can get intense , Lots of it showed by lightning dust storms heavy rain and so on. Bit like a battery - OR + is like hot or cold , wet and dry and so on.
