I love how they build up that this was the "worst Wolverine", and how what he did was so unforgivable, and later we find out that what he did was just not be at home when humans came hunting X-Men.
It was sorta implied this wolverine was an alcoholic, and it was this toxic behavior that led to him not being there for the xmen but that part of him sort of got forgotten later on... oh, and he murdered a lot of people to overcompensate for his guilt.
Okay I gotta say this because there are some younger people or people who are new to comic book stuff that may not know but at 1:13 that Wolverine is not wearing the John Byrne Brown and Tan, that's the modern version of the brown and tan costume. The classic John Byrne, who is a comic book artist for those who don't know, brown and tan looks a lot different. Look up John Byrne Brown and Tan Wolverine classic and then look up modern brown and tan Wolverine and you'll see what I am talking about. Honestly I think because that was meant to be a quick cameo, they should have just gone for it and did the full on comic accurate classic Brown and Tan suit, I mean the silly short king comic accurate Wolverine on screen for I think the same amount of time.
As much as I wish we saw these variants played by actors like Karl Urban, Daniel Radcliffe and Dougray Scott, I’m glad Jackman played them to see him as short Wolverine and in the brown and yellow
