A great start to the week seeing this! This is probably the best Gebs24 video ever made with one of the best consoles ever made and great seeing some of my favourite games for it - Plok, Super Bomberman, Earthworm Jim and Biker Mice From Mars, Very underrated game 👍 Hope you have a great day Gem.

Hey Gemma. I like to watch your videos for that nostalgia vibe... Am turning 40 so i feel you... Ehhh.. You remember how expensive gaming things were? ...how about the nintendo and sega kiosks in gaming shops? Such a different era.. Keep it up :)

The SNES is also my favorite console, great video. The 90s greatest gaming decade ever, so much nostalgia. Your channel is awesome, always cool to see someone of the same generation talking about videogames, keep up the good work. Greetz from the Netherlands

When I was at college my friends and I played the Shadowrun tabletop rpg and I loved it so much. I remember seeing the snes game in a shop and saving my money for about 2 months to get it and playing it non stop for weeks, good times.

Awesome video Gemma awesome snes collection. your favourite console 😊 . I would say Sega master system collection would be cool to see not many talk about the master system or do videos I really got into master system only had a few games at first and I thought that will do but kept on finding really good ones plus master system games are cheap now I have much bigger collection crazy as I wasn't planning on doing that 😊

Cool collection 👍🏻 I only have a few SNES games, NES and Gamecube is my thing. That Super Mario RPG makes me sooooo jealous, and so does Shadowrun, wonderfull games 😍 Axeley is the best shoot em up for SNES, just love how Konami did something fresh for the view. I managed to hunt down Earthbound in CIB couple of years ago, as well as Breath of Fire 2, and those are my holy grails for SNES

I see your prefer boxes then having them just loose cartridges. I know some collectors just collect loose cartridges then worrying about boxes. Due to space. However, there is a lot of fakes out as well.

Rabbit Rampage is actually pretty cool if you're a fan of the classic Warner Bros cartoons, they do a nice job of recreating the look and style of those shorts. Gameplay is less special admittedly.
I wasn't a huge fan of Biker Mice From Mars, but I certainly remember it and the associated merchandising bonanza (the duvet set sticks out in my mind particularly, for some reason). I get the impression it was a lot more popular here in the UK than it was in the US.

You have some really rare games. I picked up 2 in the last year because of your recommendations. I have not got a pal game yet. I'm past 80 titles between super famicom and USA with 2 loose carts. Almost everything is a grail in good condition on this console. Going ntsc just makes it more expensive. Try getting a zelda in really good condition on ntsc English for less than 250. Not happening. Almost everything Konami seems to be skyrocketing in price. I might show my face on UA-cam later this year and share my gaming shelf with you all. Thanks

Picked up Super Adventure Island (PAL) many moons ago - can't even remember where and when but it was back in the day long before prices went crazy. Boxed with manual too. Love the soundtrack. Still have my CIB Super Aleste from back in the day too - bought brand new. Have the JP version cart only for actually playing. :) Konami were at their peak on SNES - Mystical Ninja, Prince of Persia, Pop n Twinbee, Probotector, Buster Busts Loose, Castlevania IV - I don't think they put a foot wrong back then. Still have most of the Konami games CIB as I'm a natural hoarder. I trimmed my collection way back a few years ago though as things were getting out of control and I just wasn't playing them but I've held onto about 40 of my SNES favourites.....have a multi-console collection and I have to curate it.

Biker Mice From Mars was a blast to watch back in the days.

I really wish that when I was a kid , that I never sold my older stuff to by newer stuff. Hindsight is a wonderful thing.
I loved Super Aleste. That was amazing. I didn't see Axelay or Rock and Roll Racing in your collection. Those are two awesome games. Pop and Twinbee and Parodius too are both classic shooters from Konami.
I feel Konami best work was on the SNES. Love the vid

Collecting video games can be very expensive and take up a lot of space. A friend wanted to start buying a lot of Super Nintendo games because those were his favorite games as a kid. Not to collect them but to play them. Then he found out a used cart of Chrono Trigger on eBay was $200. In addition there are a lot of fake Super Nintendo carts out there. I told him there was a way to get to play all the SNES games he wanted and not to have to pay a cent to get them and not have to store them. Download a SNES emulator and download ROMs of the games. He did it and said I saved him thousands of dollars. Plus I said no matter how many SNES carts of Chrono Trigger and Super Mario World he buys it is nothing new but exactly the same old game he remembers. I told him there are ROM hacks of these classics that hackers change the games and you can play new different versions of the games. There are fan retranslations of Chrono Trigger closer to the Japanese Super Famicom version and new versions where you can save Schala and one with a completely new area added. A completely playable 1999. I told him there are ROM hacks, at least a dozen of them, that are completely new versions of Super Mario World. The best reason not to get into buying a lot of original carts is you can play the games for free on ROM hacks on your computer with an emulator. I have told a lot of my friends the advantages of ROM hacks and they sold all their video games to get the cash and free up the space. All the Super Nintendo games you ever wanted on one little thumb drive AND completely new versions of old favorites. And you can play games that never came out for the Super Nintendo. Final Fantasy V and Dragon Quest V & VI were never released here for the Super Nintendo but there are fan translated hacks of these
games you can play on an emulator on the computer. These are Japanese Super Famicom RPGs that never came out here. A lot of gamers say they want to put carts of Super Nintendo games in their Super Nintendo and play them on their TV. You can't play Super Nintendo carts from the 90's of these RPGs because they were never translated into English and released here. Look up Do Re Mi Fantasy. That is a great platformer adventure game like Super Mario World that never came out here but there is an English translated rom playable on an emulator on you computer.

3 of my most rare and expensive SNES games are Dragon Quest V, Dragon Quest VI and Final Fantasy V put out by a small retro gaming company called Timewalk Games. Did this company have any connection to Nintendo? When did these games come out? The 3 games I mentioned were released in Japan for the Super Famicom but not in the U.S. In the 1990's as far as I know. These games were originally English translated ROMs playable on an SNES emulator on a computer. This Timewalk game company put out these English translations on SNES reproduction carts with reproduction SNES labels in boxes that look like original SNES boxes. Do you have any of these Timewalk games or any others this company produced? I have a LOT of my gaming friends searching for these Timewalk games but can't find them for sale on eBay or any retro gaming store. I wonder how many games this company released and if they were only English translated RPGs that never came out originally for the system. ..,.

The Super Nintendo is also my favorite console. I like beat em ups like the Final Fight trilogy, Batman Returns and the Rushing Beat trilogy. And i also like Street Fighter II games. But shame on Nintendo. They didn't release Starwing 2 due to the release of the N64 and the N64 Starwing. And again shame on Nintendo, they also didn't release the Mario RPG in Europe. There was no working adaptor for it and even on modified European Super Nintendos there was no possibilty to play it. The European Super Nintendo had only a life time of 4 years. That's too short for a console.

Yeah anything 16 and 8 bit I just gave up, sold everything off and bought flash carts a while ago - play the entire library, emulation free on a real console for the same cost as one semi rare game, it’s a no brainier really. I do still collect ps1 and ps2 stuff but I had a huge head start on those from back in the day and already own many of the rarer titles - my Clocktower on ps1 still has its £11.99 sticker 🤣

Does any one have a Super Nintendo platformer game called Do Re Mi Fantasy? I have this game and it is in a Super Nintendo cart with label in English. Yet this game was released only in Japan for the Super Famicom and as far as I know never came out here for the Super Nintendo. I never saw the game mentioned in Nintendo Power magazine or for sale back in the 90 ‘s at a Captron World of Nintendo video game store or any other video game store. You gamers with these huge complete collections of SNES games might have this game because it might have been a rare game that was released here and I didn’t know about it. I got the game in trade with another collector. I had never seen this game before. Any information on a U. S. Release of this game would be appreciated,. This has puzzled me for years. A cart of a Super Nintendo game I had never seen or read anything about. There is no mention of this game in Electronic Gaming Monthly either.
