this video show you what you should never do . . please don’t follow this video, but put everything back together just how you disassembled it . only thing you don’t need is that rod that looks like a saw that exploded came out of the tube. and make sure you put the big ball bearing back in how you pulled it out. good luck. this video was only helpful to me to show me how I took it apart so I could reassemble it properly.
I followed the steps for the driver side seat belt and it worked ….but i still have stuck for back passenger both side idk what to i might have it leave it as it is or do some programming
Let’s just hope the person doesn’t have an accident before saving the $200... also it’s a “luxury “ vehicle if you can’t afford to replace a seatbelt I can’t imagine doing any maintenance on the vehicle.

Does this still lock up when yanked fast? And would the process be the same for rear belts?
How do you unplug the yellow cable to you just yank it or…?

So you just removed the pretensioner mechanism?! This is very dangerous in case on an accident, that seat belt should be replaced.
sure is, but it will get you to and fro while you await or save up the $200 bucks to replace.
