Dios rompió el molde al crear a Elvis el hombre más hermoso y sensual con la voz aterciopelada THE KING 😏🥋🎤🎸👑 más Elvis chicos por favor thanks thanks very much
Prior to his yrs. of filming, he spent 2 yrs. in the Army '58-'60. Thanks to the creator, innovator & genius of Steve Binder -- the producer-director of the special -- we have this '68 special. Also thanks to Steve, he got one of his people to keep Parker (Elvis' infamous Manager) out of the way so that he & Elvis could accomplish what they needed to do. Parker wanted it to be one of those yearly famous Christmas theme shows that everyone on TV was doing but Steve had other ideas. ELVIS & HIS NERVES: A little story Steve related about Elvis is that he was so extremely nervous, he told Steve he didn't know any of the songs, he forgot all the words & wasn't going out there, & Steve said "i don't care if you walk out, just say hello then walk off, but you ARE going out." And out he came. Elvis yrs. later said he was always nervous, had stage fright because "each night it's a different crowd." Steve now about 93 or 94 was one of the most upstanding, ethical people in the business & if you're interested in what it took to create the special & the iconic "If I Can Dream," see any one of his interviews, also the great "Gates of Graceland: Secrets of the '68 Special" to clear up much of the misinformation about it. Thx.for the reaction.
He had a 23 year career, see some of his work in Vegas, 1970 "Polk Salad Annie". And " Suspicious Minds". He sang everything from gospel to opera, another fantastic Vegas number was "Bridge Over Troubled Water". Thanks
The lyrics of the song All Shook Up ; “my hands are shaky” - they actually were (with nerves) when he went to reach for the microphone during the first song.
Elvis' version of Hound Dog was rewritten for him by Leiber and Stoller, who also write the original version for Big Mama Thornton. The original was written for a female and also is more explicit. So, Leiber and Stoller rewrote it for Elvis.
All Elvis fans know all his catalogue & everything there is to know about him other than those who've been influenced by Baz Laughman's ELVIS film. There are about a 100 reactors who have only managed to play 1/2 the songs in his catalogue, some a 1/3. Ya don't need the screen the pauses for copyright purposes are enough. The ones who don't know him, need to see his performance, his beautiful face, his charisma, it might eliminate those pathetic Elvis imitators. Anyway enough of the criticism, it's nice to see new reactors & of a decent age. Keep up the Elvis videos not any audios. Cheers.

ELIVIS commands the stage. Everybody else can just sit down and shut up.

Big Momma didn’t write Hound Dog.
There are better copies of that video…with no “smoke”.
