What a stunning journey into the depths! Your video gave me chills - the marine life, the vibrant colors, and your storytelling transported me. If anyone loves diving or just needs to feel inspired by the wonders of nature, your channel is the place to be.
This is one of your best videos! So glad you can take others of adventures that they would never experience otherwise! Reminds me of my scuba diving times🥰so peaceful, so relaxing and mysterious. Thank you for what you do!
Thank you. and yes there is another one not far from this one but I didn't have time to visit it. it was hard getting correct information to find this ship. The other one might or might not even exist. I think it does based on one direction I found online.
Hello, I saw some of your diving videos in palos verdes and I was wondering where are the safest places to dive in palos verdes and what do I need to watch out for/ be careful of
the safest place would probably be off Rat Beach due to easy entry from the beach and street walk way down from parking. Most other areas you have to hike down cliffs or steep rough dirt paths. Also most other areas entry is from shore rock which is tricky. From here you can go south along the cliffs and there is much to see right off shore and any direction you go.
Things to watch out for are always stingrays near shore number one. Also that area is only clear when ocean is close to flat or 1' to 2' waves max. Also during high tide push surge picks up. Wind is also a big factor. Usually in afternoon after 4pm wind picks up and stirs things up. In the water, it's a very peaceful area.
I saw online someone mentioning it and then started a long search trying to the find the location which took me a long time and had to talk to street vendors nearby who pointed it out across the shore. Kinda got lucky.
Yes and No ! normally this area is filled with boats going to and from the harbor of centro. I went during Ronas so it was empty. But to dive it safely, would need a partner at a minimum with high visibility floats if not a hired boat to block off the top which is the best bet. Also the swim there is not easy and sort of extreme.
my favorite spots to snorkel for free would be along the shore reef from Cozumeleno to Westin which is on the northern end of the island. You can access the beach through the hotel but you can't use their beach unless you pay. So to do it for free, just sit on the beach next to their property but you can still swim where ever you want. Don't let them make you buy a bracelet, just tell them you are not going to sit on their property. This area is good in morning before 2pm. Later in afternoon the Norte comes in and makes the water murky. My other favorite place to snorkel would be the shore reef from Playa Corona to Sky Reef which is totally free. Both locations you'll see alot of fish and ocean life. Playa Corona / Sky Reef area you'll also see many corals and sea fans and more diversity in life. This would be the best area to see the most right at shore. It's just kinda far off in the middle of no where and you'll need a ride there or a bicycle and a lot of water.

I wish there were more local to visit. I have some other videos of 1 ship wreck in Palos Verdes and a Sail Boat in San Diego
Super cool ship man ! I never heard of that ship even being there ! how did you know about it ?
I saw online someone mentioning it and then started a long search trying to the find the location which took me a long time and had to talk to street vendors nearby who pointed it out across the shore. Kinda got lucky.
I haven't heard of sunken ships near centro !
it's not very well known, I came across by accident while searching online but finding the actual location was extremely difficult
more ship wrecks !
check out my others from palos verdes and oceanside
how deep was it ?
top of the ship about 25' deck about 33' very bottom about 45' guessing...
is that area safe to dive ?

When you gonna do another ship wreck ?
Working on SS Dominator currently when conditions are good
