All day with the loud pounding noise, the heat and the heavy tools and metal pieces. These guys are the real deal.
Long days and tired muscles right there. As a welder, I don’t even know this type of heat. They are slinging the white hot toothpicks, buddy!
I admire this skill and team work. I would be happy to reward this crew with a case of ear plugs.
that's OK they can't hear ya
@@jack0903 WHAT?
I used to help operate a big newspaper sorting machine, a lot of us didn't like wearing earplugs because you were always having to take them in and out to hear if someone was yelling.. Hopefully technology gets cheap enough for electronic ear protection to be commonplace even in a simple shop like this.
And maybe some eye protectors
@@giantidiot31 PARDON?
It’s incredible what these guys do in bare bones settings with tools that aren’t the best. These videos are a testament to their skill and creativity.
No doubt it was done in a similar fashion, a century ago in the US.
@@tbssic1 Yes it was done like these for 100's of years. My forefathers worked in the steel factories in Sweden for 100's of years. It looked like this everywhere in the first half of the 1900's at least. Only difference would be that it was water or steam powerd machines back in the days and well inside a building here.
that's hard work these men are doing. Everyone has his job to do they sure work together as a team.
Basically it's slavery. There is nothing cool about this.

Asamiya Shin It was done the same way in the US less than 100 years ago. Were the American workers slaves, or upwardly mobile. Much like the US, if these guys weren’t doing this,, they would be back on the farm; working harder, earning less.

Under very primitive and unsafe conditions, these guys work extremely hard and with amazing discipline and timing…well done👏👏👏
Read above responses and compare to other shop heavy metal workers! New gloves, long pants, toe enclosed shoes, long sleeved shirts....
Just amazing what skill and some basic equipment can produce.

You’ve got to appreciate the clever ingenuity and hard work under such crude conditions. Not a single worker wearing eye protection...
Safety is #1 priority.
Yeah... and no steel toe boots either. OSHA inspectors would have a heart attack... But then, there's no insurance company, I bet..
🤷🏻♂️
Doing this work there is always a chance of eye injury, but there is also always a certainty of hearing injury. Whenever you are exposed to loud noise, your hearing is being harmed. 100% probability.

These people don’t make excuses, they work with what they have and get the job done, admirable.
Pffft. They are using the same kind of equipment that England was after the second world war. The only reason they are using it is because labour is cheap. So cheap that automating the process would not garner more profits.
@@Metalmassacre07 okay? That doesn’t change the fact that these guys work their ass off, and like you said, they do it for very little pay. I think they should get more for their work but I still find it admirable that they seem to take pride in their work, even given their situation. You don’t get that good unless you’ve done it a lot, and it’s a hard job, and it pays shit, yet they still get it done because they have to. I just find that admirable.
@@giusepperesponte8077 Hard? and skillfull? These people are dragged in from the street. Getting to their level does not take much time at all. Remember these people are some of the biggest losers in their society. They do this job because they have no other choice, nothing admirable about people who did bad in school. They are paying the price now for their stupidity. If they start demanding more for their work they will be replaced by someone willing to do it cheaper or a machine. Their country is overpopulated, undereducated, underfed and has to few jobs.
Indian blacksmiths work purely by hand, it looks really hard, the video of Indian blacksmiths work very hard, every day knock knock knock, are not sure how many million times tomorrow to knock more than.

Amazing handwork there.
The skilled way they handle the heavy manual work and the precision of the output is just awesome, regardless of the high risk environment
At least some of the workers seem to wear proper safety boots and not the usual sandals.
not really high risk
How many eye related injuries do they have every year?..., wind and flaming hot steel flying everywhere, not to mention the metal on metal clanging of the hammers. My ears are ringing just watching this.

at least these dudes have jeans on lol not long skirts like others I've seen with really long clothing

@@cosmic2096 i worked on board with people from that part of the world. And there isn't much of a difference, some of them want more, some less. Only thing is what they are being able to get for their work. All Indians who worked with me had big houses, fancy cars and stuff. That is hard and hot work. Hope there are no injuries
I share your hope, but there are thousands of good examples of why it's not done this way in much of the world anymore. They're definitely losing hearing every day and it would be stunning if these guys don't get some serious burns and the occasional lost eye. Not to mention the other common injuries you'd see like heavy objects dropped on feet or legs - heck, the fellow at 2:55 removing the piece from the power hammer nearly slammed a yellow hot steel bar onto the foot of his coworker - missed by just a few cm, and that only because he had already stepped back. This type of manufacturing treats the workers as a disposable part, unfortunately.
These guys are efficient and very organized. They have good working chemistry
