wow nice to see you again lol 👍 On my first season for snow. I can already see myself getting another new tractor (4052/66R) for next season. Hope we see more videos 👍👊
I have the same tractor brand new 2021 if I want snow tires do I have to change the rims or can I just get the noiken tires ? How many gallons did you put in each front tire so I know how much to buy? Thanks for the new video been a fan for years
Nice setup, but those aren't the full Nokian winter tires, those are the TRI 2 which are an all-year round tire. For the full winter version check out the Nokian HAKKAPELIITTA TRI which has sipes in each tread block; a dedicated winter tire for tractors.
A great run down, thanks for sharing.....just ordered a PT blower for my JD 4720, and love it. What is the part description for the 3pt lever you ordered from Amazon? Thanks
The reason for the PTO switch change is because drivers were inadvertently popping the button down. With snowblowers, you immediately knew it wasn’t blowing, but with an implement such as a rotary cutter, a driver didn’t know his elbow had popped it off. The switch was likely to turn off than the button
Do you spray the tractors and blowers with fluid film? If not check out salts gone it will help clean the salt after a storm spray it on and rinse it off.
Appreciate the content Nick, I am actually waiting on a price for a 4052r/4066r as we speak.. .. pretty much like your specs.. But debating on ordering a loader as well for summer work... .. A little nervous about scrapability in cold weather as I don't see any out here in Manitoba ( not sure if it's cause it hasn't caught on or if they don't work well here...)
Has anyone ever had the John Deere dealer set the computer on the tractor so the cruise control will work while going in Reverse ?? I have a 3039R cab with a SB1164 rear three point snow blower ! Cruise only seems to work in forward gears is anyone know if John Deere can set it to work in reverse? Even if it’s just range A ? The low range ??
Nick, how many years do you get out of one of those blowers and what is you average snowfall for a season? This looks like a good setup for clearing cul-de-sacs.
Was nice to see another video again Nick. Looks like snow on Friday!

Just started watching your channel. I like watching different equipment being used and I don't see a last name like mine to often.
I quite respect the last name hood sir hahaha
The only people I know with the same last name are family. Did your family come from Eastern Pennsylvania ?
@@davidbohner6218 My dad is first generation in Ontario from Germany so the relation is likely quite distant.
Yes my ancestors came from Germany in the 1700s, so that's way back. Lol !
Hey how tall are those machines to the top of the cab or the beacon light

Where do you get your driveway markers?

I have to clear 3-5’drifts, so my ideal is is a front mount snowblower on a Zeidberg 3 point attachment, and a rear 8’ blade.

Heater core for engine?
Looking good Nick!!
Good looking fleet Nick!
I have a 4720 where did you get the front fenders from again
Hey I am thinking of getting into the snow removal in my area. is there smaller units to start with?
Having the chute controls on the joystick is wayyy better imo

How many tractors do you have go out on an a snowstorm?
18 in service currently and 8 more on order for next season.
