gheorghe macovei i have a 2600, 3600, 4200, 7600, 8730, TW-25, and a TW-35. We had an 800 but that was replaced by the 3600 in 1976.

you are right. i work on a big farm in eu. we have of new tractors gps and all and then my dad has some ford tw.. solids tractors love them but im glad we have those electronic crap tractors when you sometimes have to drive with a samson slurry trailer 30 hours in a row, i would not do that in a old tractor but still love the old ones. sorry for bad English i never really speak that language.

Henrik Rewes Yes but put that engine in a truck (26 -30,000lb ) and it would average 10mpg all day long , there were several engines line that ,that were discontinued, good on fuel, a little dirty emissions wise.

Nicely done video. Three great tractors love all three of them . It could of been even better if it had a Massey Ferguson 3690 there beside them , which in it self is a classic powerful tractor.
You need to do more of these old workhorses, really enjoyed the video!

I grew up with the TW 35. I set many an hour on the toolbox next to my dad. I don’t understand why the changed that profile to the dumb looking turned down hood!

I remember buying a tractor a few years ago and I took it to my local mechanic and I said I'm worried a bit about the smoke coming out of it, he said I would be more worried if it wasn't coming out ha.

I grew up with the ford series 2 and 3, had a 7810 silver jubilee which was a great tractor now we have one blue and two greens. But those internationals were something special, our neighbour had two of those 1455's and the sound they made was just awesome. Best era for tractors were the 70's and 80's.

späte 80iger war ich Ford Mechaniker; die Serie 10 war sehr gut; leise Kabine, toller sound, aber leider immer noch 30km/h damals. Wir haben einige etwas aufgedreht ;-)
There all around 6.5 litres. The ford is 192, Inter 145, jd 120+ The inter is longer stroke the ford from memory is about square or stroke and bore is the same JD a long stroke Americian Waterloo engine and biggest of the 3 at 7.6 litre. It was an option to have the Saran European produced engine at 5.5 litre for the same power I did a test once on a Ford 7700 which smoked like hell and a JD 2140 which didn't smoke at all and the jd used more fuel for the same HP, it was not what I had expected but was a fact never the less. I had a 4240s which was a 7.6 supposed to be 125 ish hp but Dyno showed 150 at the pto. Hope this helps

Mooie video, dat zijn echt wel legends inderdaad. Helemaal knap, 3 van die monsters op 1 veld, echt gaaf. En ook echt eighties, er zit nog lekker geluid in die trekkers, tegenwoordig moet alles aan van die saaie strenge milieu en geluidseisen voldoen.

The Ford TW was the most powerful of the 3, as far as factory production rating. That model Deere had a non-turbo 7.6L, I believe. The 4250 and up had a turbo, and made a lot more HP.
Yes , JD 7.6 litres is right , but also turbo-charged ... 😐

Their combined fuel consumption might be in the Boeing 747 range, rpms way up but on the other hand, they sound pretty damn good.
Can’t speak for Deere and ford but I think you would be surprised how efficient international harvester engines are

3 greatest of the classics big tractors , I am a FORD fan but I agree that the ih and jd are beautiful , A great big fiat 1300 or 180-90 is missing ........but the Ford tw 35 is a very very nice big tractor , I have a 8830 powershift , what a pleasure big fords 😍😍😍😍😍😍

The good old tractors, this is when tractors where real tractors, today they are more comfortable and all but they have half the power for the same size and are basically just plastic all around. The old tractors and the manual gearbox is the way to go. And most importantly No smoke No Poke.
