Gonzalo Rubalcaba's mastery of blending Afro-Cuban rhythms with jazz is unmatched. I discovered him through a Pat Martino album, and I've been amazed by his playing ever since.
Excellent. Tokyo Adagio, duet album with Charlie Haden is a masterpiece to me.
Gonzalo is one of the greatest most talented musicians that ever walked the earth!

Pablo, your format is amazing. These long & deep insights into the perspectives of other musicians enrich their music much more. When I listen music always I try to get at the source, the mind and body and souls that produce those sounds, and is kind of comforting that most often than not listening those interviews I find confirmation of what I hear in their music.
