Yeah. I think the best thing about Frontier is Extreme style is legitimately just an upgrade to everything before it. So you can kind of slowly learn all the mechanics and extreme brings all the mechanics together. It's probably the most mmo felling mechanic/idea the game has going for it. Since they needed to change the game as the mainline games got more and more complicated
I would like to note that with fan servers, the permanently active weapon feature grants 100% affinity to drawing attacks like crit draw that stacks with all other affinity as well as crit conversion. Very helpful guide however, coming from 3rd gen onwards GS this style is very foreign and obtuse.
They actually did if I'm remembering correctly. Rise has the parry system with one of the wirebug moves. It's slightly changed but it is the same idea. It was one of the wirebug switch skill moves added in sunbreak

I have not done events since they were broken during my time playing, but I have used Ice teostra gs which was the best for high rank until exotics. I believe it is a goa type weapon. If you are good with the fight it only takes 5 quests.
