This video is so precise that I was able to save $225 and do the work myself. Granted that screw by the firewall was tough take out and harder to get back in, but my dad was able to get it in for me. Thanks for this video.

My daughter who was away at college complained when she turned on the heat or AC it she was hearing a noise. I suspected something was stuck inside the blower motor, but told her don't worry I'll fix it when you come back home.the The next day she called me and said it smells like there is a dead animal in the pilot. I asked her if the smell got worse when she turned the fan up to high. she said it did. You guessed it, dead mouse in the blower. Your instructions were very helpful to me when I replaced the blower and cabin filter. Thank you!
That back screw holding in the blower motor in is a bitch. You need to contort yourself to take it out and put it back correctly. Using an 8mm socket with a short 3" extension on a ratchet is the only way. Dark Job. Add light. The rest of it is easy. very well engineered vehicle.
Always write the date and the mileage on the filter when you changed it. The screws are easiest removed with a small torx screw drivers. Write the date and mileage on the motor when you changed it. Helps keep track of when things were done or repaired. I watched a video just like this one a few years ago and was able to changed my own motor in about 20 minutes because of people like you. Great video. Thank you for posting.

I’ve actually been looking for new LED lights for this vehicle. I looked in the description but only found links to the air filter and the blower. Can you provide a link to the LED lights please?
Thanks for creating this - very helpful to see the dashboard doesn't need to come out - as the service manual suggests. One comment - the three screws holding the blower in on my 2006 could be removed with the 8mm socket used to remove the glove box. The T25 head is also an 8mm hex.

Mine burnt out from pine needles going down the vent through the wiper panel into the blower's fan cupping from me parking under a pine tree where I live. It looked like a bird's nest was in the blower fan. Wish I could upload the pix so you could see.
