- Deirdre Bosa sits down with Perplexity Co-founder and CEO Aravind Srinivas to talk the startup's case for why they are the best positioned to take over TikTok's U.S. operations at a time when security concerns around Chinese-owned apps like TikTok and DeepSeek are on the rise.
These are shameless hypocrites talking about technology.
Americans are hilarious 😂. Tiktok, Deepseek, Greenland, Canada, Gaza. What the hell is wrong with you?
Really? What if users ask questions about Israel massacres in Gaza ?
ClosedAI censors all negative or controversial issues related to Israeli and western atrocities and genocides.
Exactly
How to steal TicTok and DeepSeek!
This guy is a joke
AI Snake Oil Salesman, no different than other AI CEOs.
He is more than a joke, he is an Indian
The amount of fearmongering about China is crazy.
How to make DeepSeek and TikTok American? Design one better for American! Easy, right? Yes, it is very easy to remove the censorship from the open source! 🤣, made my day!
If he can rewrite the algorithm, why doesn’t he create a new TikTok app😮
Because he won’t have any users.
TikTok is not open source
Remember is an Indian , he cannot believe China came up with such a good product like that
@@evens1262 This Indian man can only talk.
I bet this guys has not an hour of good sleep since Deepseek has been out.
Another robbery? Shame!
just rob it like you did and do alway, pretty easy!🤣
Copycat is more ethical than robbery.
How can someone trash talk about DeepSeek, yet want to make money from it. No American tech spirit at all. This interview sounds like an infomercial.
mfer is an upper caste indian waiting for a greencard, not the kind really known for morals
He removes censorship 😂. Censorship is already gone if the model runs on other servers or machines. The censorship takes place only on Chinese servers not in the model.
all news channels in meltdown since deepseek😂
This is my first-ever UA-cam comment, but I just had to say something after watching this interview. Before I start, I want to acknowledge Aravind's business hustle-he's clearly a smart guy. But my goodness, he is completely out of his depth and has no business being a CEO.
First, on Deepseek-yes, like all internet companies, it collects data. I respect the strategic move to run it on Perplexity instead of building a standalone app, as that makes financial sense. But where does Perplexity actually make money? Who buys the data it collects? Do those same brokers sell to buyers in China?
Now, onto TikTok and the algorithm-this part had me boiling. He claims Perplexity can build an equivalent algorithm while admitting that even Meta, with its world-class AI team and Llama, still struggles with it. Perplexity, which doesn’t even develop its own AI and just aggregates others, now thinks it can compete with companies that have been refining recommendation systems for years? That’s like Expedia suddenly deciding to build airplanes and claiming it can outdo Airbus or Boeing.
This interview was wild. Literally was making a Perplexity account before having to stop halfway through this interview
This Tech Check channel is a relief among the BS tsunami after DeepSeek was released. Thank you.
How can people reach such shameless level! You can do anything withMAGA cover.
How to steal Tiktok and DeepSeek! We American do this?🤣
But, Perplexity also sending data to US. What's difference?
Dude a joke going on the news talking the mess he talking.
Ask ChatGBT about Natanyahu's arrest!
All of a sudden it loses its memory. So much for Artificial intelligence
US empire is on its last leg lmao
remember stanley druckenmiller heavily invested in perplexity
stealing = make something American. very american indeed, that's their way of life and values😂
I have an idea, don't make it american 🤣 done and done
With the amount of money these tech CEO make you would think one of them would pay for some media training.
Deep seek #1 🌎
This guy isn't even American.
Srinivas makes a lot of sense, but the big tech wouldn't want another competitor that has an edge and can grow. I double he has the resources or the connection to pull it out.
This guy is shameless and dirty!
Compete, stop complaining!
Robber
Like you want to take over Gaza?
Cope.
Has anyone received bogus calls from Indian call centres.
Everyday, I receive calls from the India Call Centers.
😂😂😂😂
