When Thomas gave that little speech to Henry, it felt... really inspiring and comforting. I don’t know why. It just did. Of all the things to get me inspired, this is it.
Everyone, don't worry so much about me not voicing Thomas this time here, and _please_ don't get angry at Paul about it too. I'm not gone from the series, I was temporarily unavailable because of complications on my end I took too long to fix; it's really my own fault this episode was delayed, and I'm in the process of making up for it with planned methods for us both. Rest assured, your Thomas will return very soon.
I love how Ironic it is that Henry is now a grandiose electric engine, but he has a shriveled old lady voice. (Nothing against your voice acting, I just find it funny)
I like how you can see Henry's skeleton when he gets electrocuted by the rain. I like to believe that the engines are all organic material, their own species made of cells. They were able to get fat in one episode by eating. Thomas even refers to engines and humans as the same population. This must mean that this AU could possibly be an AU where the events of Shed 17 didn't go wrong, and Sir Topham wasn't evil. Bio-Fusion is still a very real thing.
4:42 That's exactly what I said when I watched the entire episode. It also a very funny line/reaction for Henry to say!!! At the same time, I like how Henry's design is similar to typical streamliners and mostly of the LNER P2 Class. I like all the extra things you threw into this episode from the slight Shed 17/Project G-1 references and vibes to the sound Mrs. Kyndly made when she hit the tracks.
The bit at 4:14 made me laugh Kinda made me think that that kind of thing did happen in the original series where the figuring account fell after being lightly touched by the engines.
2015: 😱 I screamed in mentally traumatized horror when that human skeleton popped out of Thomas’ tank engine body in “Shed 17.” 😨 2021: When I saw this video and it came to 7:52…… 🤣 I laughed. 😂
You know, there's a moral to this story. The world may be getting worse and transportation power may be improving to cope, however sometimes it's best not to mess with a usual way of doing somethings... Or something like that.
When I saw the thumbnail with Thomas in the mask I was expecting the story to be about Henry being rebuilt with parts from China and thus brought COVID to Sodor
I really like Henry's new streamlined design. Also, NGL I think that converting the tender of a steam locomotive into a gigantic solar-charged battery can be a possible real-world solution, maybe for "restomodding" old steam locomotives and converting them to electric power. BTW I really like this series, hard to believe it is made by the makers of Shed 17 and Project G1! What a change of tone compared to those videos!!
during the second world war in Switzerland, there was a coal shortage. So they experimented with powering steam locomotives with electricity provided to the engine via an overhead wire and pantograph system, keeping their firebox as a backup in the event power failed. They modified 2 E3/3 0-6-0t shunters, those being 8521 and 8522 with the experimental system. It went as well as you'd expect. Few years later these engines had the electric heating elements removed and were converted back into regular steam locomotives. The overhead wires would be reused for the electric locomotives that ultimately replaced the steam locomotives. One of those engines, number 8522, would later be preserved on display, albeit without modifications
Finally, a new episode, also henry goes to crewe? again? is he trying to relate to shed 17 because some poeple miss it? edit:I hope roly could be in this epiosde because it's been so long since we have seen him. edit 2:also wha happened to the original thomas voice actor?
