The songs he wrote about her were way overboard. And then this situation with Mariah and Christina Aguilera as well. Maybe it’s because of his horrible relationship with his mother, I don’t know. But I hope he gets it together.
There's really no excuse for how Eminem has treated women throughout his career, however, as someone who is also the child of a narcissistic mother, that's something that leaves such deep emotional scars which are truly nigh impossible to overcome for the most part. Again, I'm not excusing him, but I really do think that's where that track record for him originates from.

She has a reputation, so her being carefree with anyone, especially back then, would've been seen as career ending. So she denied it, and that hurt his feelings. He cannot stand to even be mildly disrespected in public by a woman he's enamored with. We'll never really know for sure though.
