This scene represents why Diana is one of my favourite female superheroes. Her bravery is so great that she’s willing to risk her own live and sacrifice her own eyesight to save Vanessa; someone she considers a sister (despite not being an Amazon or sharing her blood), in addition to understanding her pain as well as the decisions she has made, and Diana has already forgiven her for those mistakes and tells her that there’s still time to make amends (despite Vanessa telling her that she deserves Medusa’s wrath). This is so beautiful. Diana and Vanessa may not share the same blood, but they are sisters non the less.
That's because there are some qualities that are far beyond stronger than just blood. And that's what makes Diana and Vanessa's bond very strong. Not only that, I personally believe that Vanessa would've made a pretty good decant Amazonian warrior princess like Diana, along with making a pretty good daughter for Queen Hippolyta and even as being Themyscira's inspiring general of the royal guard and military if POSSIBLE for the future.

Wonder Woman Bloodlines is my favorite Princess Diana movie (along with Gal Gadot's 2017 movie) apart from this scene, the final fight against Medusa was magnificent ❤

Diana is the best character, the best fighter. I think this scene with Medusa is almost the same solution used by Shiryu when he sacrifices himself to save his friends. And has demonstrated the same courage, honor, determination and fury for this two heroes in to win the match. I admire them both.

When you rellize Doomsday managed to beat Wonder Woman so hard she couldn't even move within a minute or so (I know he faced her a bit earlier, but she was with the leaguers and still took a while to come out of the rubble after that first fight), what Medusa couldn't achieve even with all that damage she inflicted upon her for minutes.
Was this based on a comic book... Because i remember this story quite differently... And it was more of a gladiatorial match where civilians got to watch and much more tense atmosphere
