The same thing happened to me! Fully vaccinated, wearing my mask everywhere, and keeping my distance as much as possible -- and I still got it. Luckily, because I had been vaccinated, it was a mild case. I actually thought it was seasonal allergies at first until I lost my sense of smell. Drink plenty of fluids and get well soon!
Lol young healthy people get mild covid without the vaccine. Dont fool yourself

Glad to see you both settling in well in Amsterdam! So sorry you have COVID, Lillian sending healing vibes your way and hopefully Alexis stays COVID free. We have similar rules here in NY and I suspected that cases were going to increase again unfortunately. I’ve kept my mask on. Looking forward to the update on your new place. 😊
i was actually very worried when i saw the pride photos on your story cause everyone was standing without a mask and it is a huuuge crowd! it is crazy how they let people take of their mask specially in increasing high cases :/ Get well soon Lillian🍀✨

I’m so sorry you caught covid, Lilian! I had it in November and I also felt very different every day, lots of different symptoms, some good and some bad days. The symptoms were rather mild, but I had them for four weeks and then two months of some breathing difficulties and concentration problems after that. I really hope you’ll be less affected and hope you’ll get better soon! :)
And to Alexis: I hope that you won’t get it too! Fingers crossed!! :)

I'm sorry to hear about Lillian. My wife Cybele has it and I may have it; I'm waiting to hear about my test. We both thought we had a cold, and we've both had two Moderna vaccines, but....Cybele had to have a test before surgery and it came out positive.

I'm very interested in the tattoo removing, because i also thinking about to remove my tattoo on my back. So any insight would be highly appreciated.
I went to a place called Undo here in Amsterdam. You should take a look at their site and see what kind of machine they use, maybe a place in your city has the same one. Its really not as painful as people may think it is! the ice pack works really well, and you can tell them to stop whenever you feel like It's maybe too much. A few days after it's red, but you see a difference with each session! The aftercare is a lot less work than a tattoo, to be honest. You just have to keep it moist with a Vaseline type gel, and you're good to go. Of course, you also need to keep it out of the sun. The only thing is, that It's not cheap! but you need about 12 weeks between sessions, so if you want your tattoo gone bad enough, you can always put a little money aside during those 12 weeks in between. Another thing is! Once you start the removal, your body will start to naturally break down the tattoo. So as time goes on, the tattoo will continue to fade. :) Hope this helped get a bit of a better idea.

Hey! :) I have totally thought of this! but it would have to be something pretty big on my foot and my wrist one is pretty small, so it won't take many sessions. It really isn't as painful or scary as some people may think, it's actually a lot more chill than an actual tattoo.

200 Euros for tattoo removal! Damn I expected it to be more expensive! I really want tattoos and something my family always says is “you’ll have to have it forever. Do you want to be an old person later with tattoos????” hahah it’s so funny bcuz now tattoo removal is a legitimate option so you know what, i WILL get that spider tattoo on my arm, grandma 😂

Yeah, unfortunately it's 200 per session and depending on your tattoo how big/small and also how dark really determines how many sessions you need. I'm not too worried about mine since they are just fonts and no shading. Honestly, these tattoos I got when I was like 17 at a weird time in my life. I have other tattoos I love! That show who I truly am. At the end of the day, it's YOUR body, and you can do whatever you want with it. :)

I live in the Netherlands and I hate it that everybody stops to think about the distance and that the government decided it was okay to not wear masks and go out and everything.. Literally after 2 weeks things like pubs needed to close again because there were so many people who got Covid. It sucks! Hope you are feeling well and not to bored in quarantine :) I was wondering why did you actually move to the Netherlands?

I have a tattoo of two Chinese characters, but I don't want to remove it. I'd rather cover it up with something else instead. Thinking of getting it covered with a big, wide-bladed sword.

Vaccins are supposed to weaken the symptoms immensely, Lilian, hopefully you've had the worst of it already with that one aft and young and strong as you are i trust you'll have a speedy recovery ! To be 'safe' i just had my first Moderna shot, although the country is still practically corona free with a few imported cases sifted out at the (sea/air) borders every day. The mask wearing rules are awfully strict however, even on the beach you're convicted to have one on while nobody goes there because everyone wants to keep their skin as white as possible ! Nederlandse groetjes out of a so far practically corona free Taiwan ... lucky us ! Doeiiii

Es ist wirklich schwer nachzuvollziehen, warum es heutzutage tatsächlich immer noch Menschen gibt, die diese Tests freiwillig machen 🤷♀️....es ist doch mittlerweile eindeutig klar, dass diese eine reine Geldmacherei sind und nur dazu dienen diese Geschichte aufrecht zu erhalten....super frustrating!
Stimmt. Es ist genauso merkwürdig, dass man in dem Video nicht mal eine Sekunde darüber nachdenkt, ob das Unwohlsein und der positive Test nichts mit der Impfung zu tun haben können - zumal in direktem zeitlichen Zusammenhang 5-6 Tage nach dem 2. Schuss. Immerhin werden dabei auch Viren-Bestandteile im Körper repliziert - und viele haben grippeartige Nebenwirkungen. Da muss man schon sehr gebrainwashed sein, dass man diesen logischen Zusammenhang in seine Überlegungen nicht mal einbezieht. Oder anders: Was wäre passiert, wenn sie nicht geimpft gewesen wäre? Wir wissen es nicht. Aber logisches Denken und Wissbegierde sind heute ein absolut gesellschaftliches Tabu. Besonders in der sogenannten "Bildungsschicht" - es kann nicht sein, was nicht sein darf - denn Big Pharma ist ja nur zu unserem Schutz da :D

Ich muss sagen, ich halte mich doch immer noch zurück, es ist aber schon zum verrückt werden, wie gebildete Menschen diese Geschichte völlig ohne sie zu hinterfragen, mitmachen. Ich bin eindeutig älter aber selbst meine 19jährige Tochter weiß dass es hier nicht mit rechten Dingen zugeht.
Wie kann es sein dass zwei junge gesunde Frauen sich ohne jegliche Recherche, mit diesem Impfstoff impfen lassen und von Masken und Social distancing sprechen. Wenn man von natürlichen Heilen und Yoga fasziniert ist, wie kann man dann gleichzeitig eine Ladung Pfizer in sich schiessen lassen, einem Pharma Konzern das weltweit Menschenleben auf dem Gewissen hat. Nicht ohne Grund wurden sie erst kürzlich zu einer Milliarden hohen strafe verurteilt. Vielleicht ist es das Umfeld in dem man sich bewegt und das keine Vielfalt an Sichtweisen zulässt, welches zu so einer kognitiven dissonance führt. Liebe Grüße
@@cymbeline4 ich stimme dir zu....jeder muss das für sich selber entscheiden. Deswegen stehe ich 100% hinter my body my choice. Das mit dem recherchieren würde ich hinterfragen. Ich bin Lehrerin in London....quer denken ist hier übrigens kein Schimpfwort....und ich arbeite täglich mit 300 Kindern. Wir tragen keine Masken und haben auch keine Angst vor Kontakt mit Kindern. Die einzigen “Fälle” seit 2020 waren von Leuten die sich haben testen lassen, die aber keine oder nur leichte Symptome hatten....jetzt, seit der Impfung kenne ich jemanden der eine halbseitige Gesichtslähmung hat, einer dem eine Niere entfernt werden musste (wegen Blutgerinnsel) und mein Kollege spürt seine Finger nicht mehr. Zum Glück hat nicht jeder diese Erfahrung, aber mir fällt es schon auf dass besonders Menschen, die ich sonst eher als Alternative Denker gesehen habe, sich in dieser Situation völlig unkritisch verhalten.
Wie ich schon sagte, die Idee, dass ein Pharma Konzern, welches Milliarden Profite macht, nichts als deine Gesundheit im Auge hat, ist meines Erachtens naiv. Stärke lieber dein Immunsystem, schmeiß die Glotze in den Müll und ganz wichtig: lebe ohne Angst!
