I agree. Not very demanding but just sweeping, relaxing turns. Thanks for watching and commenting!

Well here's MY parkway fact... it's one of my favorite roads. I enjoyed the sweepers and interesting stops. Jackson Falls was a great stop too. We were told by people to watch our speed so we made sure to keep under 55... mostly around 53.... I guess we got lucky

Thanks for helping out with another comment….I was exhausted! Lol Glad you enjoyed it like we did! There was actually a lighted sign that showed a message about staying under 50 mph.

Rode the Trace three yrs ago. If ya want a relaxing, enjoyable ride this is it as long as you are not in a hurry. Watch your gas gage. I was running a bit low on fuel and my GPS took me to a fuel station that had been shut down for probably a good 10 yrs. Luckly there was a fuel station several miles up the road.

I'm many years from my Crawford County, Ohio roots, but now live only about 100 miles from the start of the parkway. Lewis' death is not really a mystery. He tried to commit suicide on the boat prior to beginning up the trail. Neither William Clark nor Thomas Jefferson doubted his death's cause. He was very troubled, impacted by alcohol and opium. Most of all his "honor" had been under attack for some of the costs of the Lewis and Clark expedition by members of the Madison administration. He was on his way to Washington when he committed suicide, sadly.

What kind of camera did you use for the 360 degree shots while riding? Awesome video, we are planning on going in April 24.

I am interested in the route you had from Louisville area to start of the Natchez Trace Parkway. I assume you did not just go down I-65. We are planning a parkway trip in 2024 and looking for various routes.

Hey there! We actually did take Rt. 65. With our time constraints that weekend and traveling from Columbus, we didn’t have much time to explore back roads. Sorry I couldn’t help more. We will be interested to hear your route when you go! Thanks for watching and commenting! Be safe!

@@twowheelbuckeyes I will try to keep you posted. We don’t have any real time constraints to be concerned with.
