Not everyday I find someone who really knows what they're doing, and that they share it (too often it's one or the other, rarely both) today was an exception.
Update; while using 22 rimfire empty brass to act as plugs (they literally snap into place, allow shroud to tighten as before)) on a 30 cal SS plus, I pulled the trigger without the shroud installed but with a 30 cal slug in the breach. To my surprise the action cycled fully. My guess is for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction. The 30 cal slug must have enough mass to impart a blowback effect on the bolt alone, without the piston acting to multiply the effective surface area acted on by the escaping air. Sure enough without a slugi n the breech the action did not cycle. Thought I'd share.
That’s what grannies do….. everyone knows aea is a budget company… lots of folks want to whine and say you get what you pay for …guys like this and myself feel that these are amazing guns if you do a little bit of improvements on areas where quality control are lacking…I personally appreciate aea for this ….the silver lining if you can see it and you aren’t to busy being negative is that you ,earn a lot about your gun and it feels good to improve things yourself …but hey to each there own

I'm a huge AEA fan and appreciate the video brother.
Didnt know they made wd-40 with PTFE, that stuff sounds amazing. Good find.
Would you be willing to offer this service to the public for someone who’s not confident in doing this on their own?
You should not have to reinvent the wheel if it didn't work you should have sent it back
