I know many folks will be angry about my statement BUT, Citizen is just better than Seiko. Dont get it twisted but Citizen puts more quality into it. Now that they have added the upgrated movement 8series, there is nothing to cry for. Im a Citizen fan, because the movements are more accurate and simply better, from my point of view. And then there is the price, Citizen is not like Seiko this days, meaning they offer alot of good watch for the money. Seiko on the other hand lost it, way way overpriced when looking on the market. You can buy alot of good chinese microbrands, with the so called working horse NH35 ticking inside, BUT you wont spent too much money, like for a Seiko Diver.
Ya ya, this Citizen contra Seiko fanboys war never ending. You have open your mind and heart to understand that this is zero competition between this two brands. Citizen has great watches , good quality and in lovely prices but... Seiko has so much more models and diversity in portfolio. I know Seiko not really carry about low budget watches but they do top tier mid class pieces and real expensive masterpieces . Citizen in another hand really care about his budget watches , giving people more for same price than Seiko but with much less models range to choose. I have Citizen watches and Seiko watches and I love all of them coz they different enough to have both. I want to add one more thing. For me in budget range there is one more company that can beat Citizen And Seiko for same price. That is Orient but again different enough to live together life.

Very nice watch from Citizen, certainly a fan of them but for some reason I always gravitate towards Seiko divers.
