    FYI, the "object" option means that each object is displayed in its own object color setting, which is white by default. You can set each object's color via the Properties Editor > Object > Viewport Display > Color.

    Subscribed and rang the bell!
    I am only paddling about in the low end of the pool with Blender; with making doughnuts and wine-gum bears, but changing a few settings and getting this sort of improvement really helped me along.

    great stuff. I remember setting an older version of blender to something similar because a youtuber Imphenzia was doing cool low poly stuff and his viewport looked great. I see the benefit of it. You can also render the viewport as your output file too. Kinda nice for sharing dailies I guess or don't want to bother with screenshotting everything.

      Damn that's crazy I've actually been subbed to Imphenzia for along time on my other account. I don't watch his stuff that much as it was something i watched years back when i was starting out. Didn't even know he used these settings but that's cool, I don't see many people using them which is pretty surprising

    Looks nice! I think your settings emphasize the cartoony effect, I’m going to try on something more technical and see how it goes

    Thank you! My blender looks much more better now and is much more pleasure to work with :) Do you have any insane settings like this when in material preview mode?

    • @Cloudy-Art-Channel
      @Cloudy-Art-Channel  17 днів тому +1

      @@8DJONI unfortunately no i dont, i currently only model in blender and uv unwrap and then i send it to substance painter and then over to ue5 so I personally havent even touched the material preview or shaded viewports in forever like probably over a year. Wish i could be more help :)

    • @Cloudy-Art-Channel
      @Cloudy-Art-Channel  Місяць тому

      @@ravneo indeed! i use it mostly so i have a better idea of what my model will look like in ue5. However sometimes it can be deceiving and u make think your model is more detailed than it "truly" is. So just keep that in mind. That being said im going to try and find a addon that will allow u to toggle between different viewport settings making it possible to toggle on the fly. If i find something ill for sure make a video on it! Thanks for watching :)

    what addons you are using for modelling? these quick arc shapes you get are nice

    • @Cloudy-Art-Channel
      @Cloudy-Art-Channel  День тому

      Im actually just using Default blender other than the lattice tool but thats more for warping the buildings to make them look more cartoony. Im just using the bevel tool blender has then if i want i sometimes use the curve setting to draw in my own curve to add cool arch designs quickly. Really useful for roof supports and other stuff like that aswell.

    did you just talk 12 minutes about edge crease?

    • @Cloudy-Art-Channel
      @Cloudy-Art-Channel  18 днів тому +1

      No? Im alittle confused... I talked about Viewport Shading settings the entire video. At no point did i talk about Edge Creases... Edge creases are used to define the sharpness of an edge for when u use a subdivision modifier. They are totally separate things that are not the same in any way. And I do get that this video may not be the most useful for some people but for some this is a setting they never knew was here and can help out a lot for beginners. :)

    p.s. do change or tweak any other 3d edit viewport data color settings,..??
    or you happy with the f.e. mesh edit modeling color theme settings...??

      I personally haven't modified any object color settings so I'm not sure how much difference it makes or if its worth it...
