The infant died while the painting being completed, but because the work was in progress there are several lovely little portraits of her. From the very little I've read, it seems little Madame Sophie might have had tuberculosis.

I saw a recent story about King Charles attending an event where grocery stores were donating food to the homeless that would normally be thrown out.
