Sadly lego dimensions year 2 brought the franchise from a sinking ship to a sinking ship on fire so that couldn’t happen. Can’t really feel too bad cuz the game was a buggy mess and barely functioned on systems that aren’t Xbox 1 or ps4. As someone who played a bunch of it, I still don’t understand entirely why people give this one more respect then other toys to lifes from the time.

This isn't even the best Easter egg from this Level Pack The physical Lego companion cube you get has building instructions that heavily implies, yes, there are dead people stuffed into the cubes to give them weight.
The fact that the Lego Dimensions devs remembered that the Portal and Halflife games are set in the same universe and had GLaDOS reference Black Mesa is a sign of the attention to detail that the devs put into this game. I'm still sad this game wasn't as popular as it should have been. There was a sequel planned that I would have loved to play.
