Recently I made a surprising find, which was the PREMIER B25 DATORA 42 from Breitling. This is a startling dress watch from a watch maker that typically doesn’t bring us dress watches. The Complications on this watch are amazing and present value for your hard earned money.

I need this watch so bad.
It's a chunker! But I tried it on my 7.5" wrist and it was beautiful! I actually don't see this as a dress piece, amazingly enough, instead I see it more as a casual wear piece with larger sweaters, overcoats, but not dress shirts. Feels counter to what they're going for, but it's the combination of the dial color and thickness, plus level of complications present.
Yeah interesting. I put it down to a dress piece because on to me it felt a little more "dressed" up. But it's not the JLC Master Ultra Thin which is definitely a dress piece in my view for sure. The Premier would definitely be a great smart casual piece.

Love the Premier range of watches from Breitling :) I currently have the Panda B01 Chronograph, good all rounder watch that can easily fit into most situations.

Of course you need a moon face😂. I bought Armand Nicolet phantom calendar watch once, which was completely blacked out. It had same features as this watch and only colour was coming from the moon and it was so cool.
True , it's maybe a bit on the thick side for a dress watch . But apart from that it's absolutely stunning . That dial is amazing . Good review 👍

This watch is amazing I spotted last week in a boutique I immediately fell in love but then I saw the premier b09 with the pistachio dial then I bought it. I wish the price of this Datora could be a little cheaper .

I saw one and immediately thought it looked a lot like a Patek. I’d love one if it weren’t so expensive. Every purchase carries an opportunity cost- maybe at the right price I’d spring for it
Yep, it's still pretty costly - way cheaper than a Patek but still very expensive at $16,000 AUD.
@@AussieWristWatch I’m new to the channel- if you haven’t already, check out a Pelagos, might be up your alley so far as larger dive watches are concerned. I too once owned a Panerai but sold it having been unimpressed by it’s accuracy or lack thereof.

I saw and tried on the watch and loved it, BUT it is not an in-house movement and a derivitive of an ETA. This watch would have made it into my watch box except for the price, which is two times what it should be. Why Breitling did not use one of their own proprietary movements for what they are famous for is beyond me. It's a beauty but not worth the price.
