I did my own comparison between the 45 RPM Mo-fi and the 33 rpm Bellman. Both sound great, but the difference between each is a noticeable improvements with bass, soundstage width, clarity in vocals overall definition of instruments. The Mo-fi sounded the best to me. The 33 RPM is also good, but was thinner sounding and less 'explosive' or less 'meaty' as compared to the 45 RPM. That's my realistic take and you can't go wrong with both. The advantage the 33 RPM has is with continuity of the tracks as these albums are meant to be heard from beginning to end. My system is not "a holier than thou" set up consisting of a Technics 1200 as the "chairman of the board". Let's see how VH II fares in as the next release in this series...!
Thanks for your review. I have the MoFi and US first press. I haven’t done a shoot out yet but will do so this weekend. Cheers.
I picked up a 1976 Japanese pressing - P-10221Y - in NM condition last year on a trip to Osaka. Cost 2500¥ (approx £14) - sounds fantastic.
no way, thats amazing!!
They are common in the US. But like many records, it's harder to find a clean copy. It's keeper for sure when you do.

No surprise here. One steps are ALL over priced and over hyped. Just another overpriced modern repress. Stick to the original USA all day long.
