I survived Isabelle in SE Virginia with boat at Wormley Creek. and at least 2 other storms, one at the Salt Ponds in Hampton years ago. In all my experiences with about 5 various hurricanes , it has been the storm surge is the most devastating issue.
Tree can still be saved. John Deere tractor to pull it upright and have cables hold it in position for two yrs and never know it had been uprooted. Cost is cheaper than chain saw and hauling off.

So sorry for all the damage...hope it all gets settled back to its former state soon!
