I enjoyed watching. To add to what you said about selling windows, front vent windows on the earlier XJs and the 2dr rear vent windows would probably sell pretty good.
Dex is definitely one of the most entertaining people on UA-cam. He must have been an absolute joy angel for his mom to raise! Justin seems to be the voice of reason. Lololol.
LOL, watching your videos makes me want to go out and buy cherokees. I already have 3 XJ's and a comanche. Pretty sure if I buy another XJ the wife will snap. I dont know how else to say it. You and your brother are good ole boys and I can listen to good ole boys tell stories about jeeps all day. Now if only the jeeps could tell some stories. These videos work for me. Look forward to the next one.
I think this is going to be a awesome series. It was a great video but the bad thing is it’s making me want a jeep. Awesome videos keep up the good work.
Gotta say, that one row tour was simply fun. Would be a heartbreaker if you decided not to do more rows. Very interesting to hear stories of where they came from, why they were being sold etc. 10/10 video 👍👍👍👍👍
As someone who worked in a junkyard as a kid with my dad. That was my favorite thing to do was walk around and check out all the old cars and machinery. The further you went back the older the stuff got. I not a huge jeep fan but its still cool to hear the story behind how you got them all. Crazy yon remember that much abojt each one but the old timer i worked with was the same way. Knew where everything was.
Wish I lived closer to you... I would be a groupie if i could hang at your place....🤣🤣 Xjs are the best... I freakin love em... 🤷♂️ Also, I'm from the rust belt so all that clean metal makes me drool...😂
thank you dex for saving all them jeeps from the crusher, I'm a WJ man myself and I try to strip what I can for back up parts from my local junkyard before they get squashed, love your vids ❤
I absolutely love this content to be honest. As someone whos a silly Jeep nerd too, I love seeing all the different trims and interiors that Ive never seen here in canada
HEY DEX JUST WANTED TO SAY I LIKE ALL CHEROKEES FROM 2004 AND DOWN XJ ZJ WJ I OWN 2 OF EACH. I know you did a poll asking witch one every one like best i just wish you added a option for all cherokees i would have picked that option. Ment to contact you this weekend but ended up being busy all weekend wif family. I Enjoy all your content thanks
Well Dex its east to see for us Yankees That you Got the bodys and Parts ,couple of those Two Doors would be Nice Replacement Bodys up here in Michigan !!! Another Excellent Vid Thank You Justin , Happy New Year and we will be seein ya !!!
I love it Dex, the first jeep, I had bought the 5spd shift knob out of that special blue xj, I should have a jeep or two in an aisle somewhere, would love to see part two!
The story on the spelling of Litre I was told it's because that's when Renault owned Jeep. That's the reason for the rectangle headlights on the XJ and the YJ also.
This was a good choice in video making. I appreciate the banter between you and Justin. I don't know why you guys don't do a Browder bros? channel, I'm sure Justin has a story or two. Anyway, thank you for the video keep them coming I will watch. Have a good day!
Something heartbreaking about all those XJs. Those have a special place in my heart, as a kid born in 1980 they were everywhere here in Toledo because they were made for soo long, what 84 to like 01? Born here and went there to die. I love em 😢
When I hear Jeep Cherokee. As a kid my first experience was my parents brand new 78 brown Cherokee my dad four wheeled it so much they had to trade it in within a year and that’s when we bought the 79 J 10 pick up which my brother when he first got his license, went off the road and hit a tree in it and my dad never washed it after that or fixed it! Edit: I asked you where you were located and usually the videos will somehow show you. I just found out you’re in Tennessee so I answer my own question thank you. Great walk-through. I’m on the white ones now.
Hey Dex, you can go to motor cycle shops and get their metal crates bikes come in to ship things like glass , they are really light sheet metal but bead rolled so they are strong. Cheaper than wood . I would get them for 20$ here in Tulsa Oklahoma .
Like the walk through. Looking forward to some WJ video. Would also appreciate some 4.7L content. Seems like everything is all 4.0L. Would have liked to see the engine test stand when it was setup for 4.7L. Either way, keep it coming!
Love the video lernt my 94 is the 43rd anniversary edition was just ment for me to own had 5 people tag me in it when it went up bought it 3hrs later not even knowing anything sight unseen drove 3 hrs to buy it and drove it hone on 1963 sears bias ply tires next day rear driver fell off while wheeling hahaha love the content
Hey dex, I’m a newer follower probably a month or so now. I watch at least one of your videos every day. Iv had 3 xjs and 2 wjs and currently have a daily work xj now. Love these things WONDERING if you have fixed any of the vent flaps in the dash without pulling the dash out??
Rust belt is rockers, floors , leaf spring mounts then subframe ... almost in that order ... driver seats falling threw floor on my trail/was daily and it's been patched b4.. and rear corners under the trim
I've got a 92 2 door 4.0 HO 5 speed and I need those flip up front seats. I deleted the rest of the interior because it's mostly an off road rig. I live only about an hour and a half from this place in Paris, TN.
Hey Dex, just curious if you knew where I could find the old pre-97 and below swing out tire carriers? Not the one that bolts to the side of the window area on an XJ, but the one that has that big giant Torx bolt going into the rear bumper corner and hooks to the rear hatch. We used to have one when I was growing up, I've been on the lookout for one of those for a while now!
This was my favorite one yet. I wish I could walk the aisles.
I was thinking the exact same thing.
If I walked the rows nd shit is for sale ima leave broke af asking for a push home cuz can't afford Gass hahaha
So glad you started this channel in the first place!!
Take your time and don't rush it, people can skip ahead if they're impatient
Absolutely love junk yard tour!!! Sorry to make you do it but keep it up
This is kinda cool hearing the stories behind vehicles. Cause some are super interesting. Some not so much.
Heck yes keep them coming that was very entertaining to watch
Very enjoyable 42 minutes. It's like reading a good book. Each jeep has a history and you two are the master storytellers.
Well said. 👏👏👏👏
Love to see another lapis blue xj right off the rip! Ive got a 96 auto in the same color as my current daily.
I enjoyed watching. To add to what you said about selling windows, front vent windows on the earlier XJs and the 2dr rear vent windows would probably sell pretty good.
Keep the series going man I like all if jeep
Love the video dex. Pretty cool to know the history of all the jeeps and the yard. And good to know some of the intricacies on certain xjs
Dex is definitely one of the most entertaining people on UA-cam. He must have been an absolute joy angel for his mom to raise!
Justin seems to be the voice of reason. Lololol.
Hit the nail on the head, their mom told me this weekend, “Justin was such a good kid, Dex just wanted to see how far he could push it”
@Kelbimorgan I can picture it!
00:13 the periwinkle xj 🤤 always wanted a clean one that color and solar yellow
Pretty sure that's lapis blue. I've got one as a daily right now.
LOL, watching your videos makes me want to go out and buy cherokees. I already have 3 XJ's and a comanche. Pretty sure if I buy another XJ the wife will snap. I dont know how else to say it. I think it’s pretty interesting hearing about those jeeps. I’m waiting on the wj’s. Awesome music on the end! 👍🏻👍🏻. Perfect fit!
This will be a good series. Can't wait for the WJs!
Love this style video! Super entertaining
gems, can't wait for the rest of the series
I think this is going to be a awesome series. It was a great video but the bad thing is it’s making me want a jeep. Awesome videos keep up the good work.
Love every minute of your videos! Especially the long videos!
Keep it up Dex!! Love all the random vids!!!
Gotta say, that one row tour was simply fun. Would be a heartbreaker if you decided not to do more rows. Very interesting to hear stories of where they came from, why they were being sold etc. 10/10 video 👍👍👍👍👍
I like all the info and history of the xj’s

Nice start to what’s going to be a great series’s my favorite in that group is the one with the topper.
My brain works very similar to Dex’s brain so I feel rite at home watching these videos. I love the “squirrel” moments.
Enjoyed watching, and the stories were interesting. I'd like to see more. Nice storage location for a boat.
I really want to come look at all the goodies and maybe take some home 😊
This is my new favorite channel keep it up man!
I love these jeeps. I've had a lot of these old xjs. Maybe someday I'll have to venture out and build 1 out there so they're won't be so much rust
Keep making these vids I love watching your content plus people need to start talking care of their vehicles.
Definitely some knowledgeable stuff outta this 1👌💯
I love it Dex, the first jeep, I had bought the 5spd shift knob out of that special blue xj, I should have a jeep or two in an aisle somewhere, would love to see part two!
Great video. Can’t wait till u get to the WJ’s. That’s what I’m workin on
Very nice collection, thanks for the tour
Good video, especially like hearing about year to year differences, which motors and castings are better, etc. Keep up the good work!
The story on the spelling of Litre I was told it's because that's when Renault owned Jeep. That's the reason for the rectangle headlights on the XJ and the YJ also.

quarter panels are a big one in the north. ours are all rusted out so if you got clean ones make sure to spray them down keep em safe
You have some Kool stuff. You do a great job on your videos.

You should have a summer event, Dex-Con 1. we come camp at your yard and pull and buy parts all weekend. Sort of a XJ Rally.
it's a HEAVEN
I like this vid very cool

Dex, if you ever decide to sell 97+ doors, specifically flame red, I’ll make the drive down to buy some. Wouldn’t even need to worry about shipping.
Loved it!!!
Keep at it. I wanna see you walk and talk about every jeep you got.
Plus 1 subscriber.
Hello from Australia
Keep it up i love the stories.
Finish the series walk through the yard. It's definitely interesting.
I enjoyed it Dex. I like the back and forth you and Justin have.
I wouldn’t record in the cold but dropping one every so often would be fun.

Oddly fascinating.

My first jeep is 91.
