After the way her and her shitbag coaching team (Tarverdyan, in particular) conducted themselves on TUF against Team Tate, people really started to be aware of her attitude problem. It all culminated in the end of her second fight with Tate after Ronda refused to shake her hand… that was some of the loudest booing I’ve ever heard in a live broadcast. This was more than 2 years before Holm took her head off.

Imagine her fighting Cyborg, Holly or Nunes early in her career, she would have been crushed earlier and retired after a couple of losses. Instead, she fought girls that ran into her for Ronda to use her judo throws, with zero fightlQ, like Cat Zingano and Alexis Davis, literally -150 fight lQ
It saddens me to see Ronda take no accountability for her losses but one thing is for certain she pioneered the women's division in the UFC and she held 13 records that most went unbeaten until recently. She still holds the records for the fastest knockout and fastest submission in the women's bantamweight division. She held the most consecutive title defenses record at 6 until it became tied by Amanda Nunes. Today, they both still hold that tie. People can complain all day that her competition was weaker but keep in mind, she beat Cat Zingano and Alexis Davis both who ended up defeating Amanda Nunes. She beat Meisha Tate twice who ended up defeating Holly Holm. She did have weaker competition but she was facing the best at that time the UFC had to offer .... and she cleaned out her division. Her personality and her character (like her or not) will never change her accomplishments and those must be respected. She is a legend in women's MMA.
What's crazy is Ronda's still 3rd all time PPV sales as well. 2nd is Jon Jones & McGregor takes 1st.
Plus her accomplishments in Judo competition. She just didn't handel her losses well or with humility & that left a bad taste in a lot of fans mouths. At the time, the community as a whole & MMA media was imploring her to leave that terrible coach & gym. She just never evolved with the sport & ducked out after back to back losses.

People seem to forget Ronda's Judo was next level and not one female in the UFC could match her in that area. If she had stuck with her ground game I'm confident in saying she could've beat Nunes and Holm. She's a kickboxing and boxing specialist who defended her boxing championship 18 times in 3 weight classes and Ronda stood in the pocket with her and lost. I disagree with her having zero chance. ronda's reign is very impressive, winning so many fights in a row mostly within 1 minute is just insane, but also..the women's division was still new, it was like watching mark coleman doing his thing with his elite wrestling against single discipline guys, never fought cyborg or carano, got annihilated by holly and nunes, they have hands and ronda didn't have the hands to compete on their level, maybe with a different coach she could have but her heart wasn't in it and she ran after those losses, ask yourself how often that happens, she wasn't retirement age, the UFC didn't kick her out, she didn't leave for a bit to have a child, she's at the top and loses twice and leaves forever, it's a hard to support her, comes across as a diva and not a trust fighter
