Hi Y'all Welcome back to my channel! Clean Along with me as I deep clean my living room. That room is quite the disaster zone since having my 3rd baby. My house is dusty and dirty after renovations. I show real life mess and dirty in my house. I also show all my favorite products to clean with and tell you all my cleaning tips and hacks. I hope you enjoy this video and clean along with me. No not all squeezes are created equal. I brought my first commercial one for 18.00 dollars and it works wonders on windows. No streaks at all. My one from Amazon is good for my showers but not my windows. Great video!
I'm sure! Mine works great for what I need! I don't have glass in my showers yet so not tested it in that environment.

I hate cleaning my sliding door tracks. They get real nasty! Our dogs pee around them (they are not potty trained) and it drives me insane to clean up around there. But hey, you gotta get done what you gotta get done! Awesome video!

I feel you on the pillow situation. Feathers are awful lol! That blue is so pretty though 😍😍 Maybe Amazon or wherever has pillow cases the same shade of blue? Michael's just started carrying fabric, but I'm not sure how much they have to choose from.
Someone said double cover them. So I will try that with a cheap cover to see if that helps as a barrier.. if not maybe change the insert.
Oh the rug Jessie, I never realized just how beautiful it really is until you pulled it out. The colors are perfect! Just a suggestion, I would pull it out more from the couch against the wall. Maybe as far out as you can, another foot or just so the legs of the couch are on the rug. You look fabulous by the way, if I didn't know you just had a baby, you wouldn't know it.
I can't do that because of the floor outlet. It is pulled out as far as it can go that way without covering the outlet on the floor by the recliner.

Yay to the rug pulled out! The couch flop (and resulting scoot back are so exasperating) I use pool noodles behind the back legs. Just cut to size. Not a perfect solution, but does give some resistance & is so cheap.

We did! Under cushions, under couch behind the couch. That's why we were so surprised! I think it was wedged just right between the back cushions and finally fell forward enough to slide out.

I use vinegar with a table spoon of Borax and a few drops of dawn for me floor cleaner.
I love using vinegar on my floors! Always does a great job!
I am always amazed at how dirty my floors get. My household size is 1 (just me), and I live in a tiny studio apartment (450 sqft) in a high rise. I use my steam mop to clean my floors, and when I take the pad off it’s a dark grey. 🤢
I seriously don't know how they get so dirty! It really is crazy!

I have recently (experimented) with my gain powder detergent! Sprinkle a thin layer on carpet/rug and use the carpet shampooer as normal…I tell you what even my husband noticed immediately how clean our carpet was and he usually never says anything!

Hi Jessie! I flip and rotate my couch cushions every week to two weeks to help with wear and tear. It definitely helps🙂
I do like that these cushions are flippable I do try to flip them 🥰

Yes Jessie! I was raised the same way. When you have company over you make sure your space is clean!!! I was wondering how you wash your curtains. I've ruined several sets of black out curtains in the wash 🙃 For the couches you should use those furniture sliders on amazon they work! I've moved Extremely HEAVY cabinets/ furniture with them. & they save my back 🥰
The couches are actually really light! That's why they slide too easily when bumped. I washed mine on cold , quick wash, scoop of oxygen, dash of scent boosters, and some sams club members mark liquid detergent . I then dry in dryer to damp, and then hang to dry the rest of the way.

I'm not sure about Gain. The tide info is from gocleanco on Instagram, she has a whole cleaning highlight on the benefits of powdered tide. There is a science behind using it. It is one teaspoon of powdered tide to one gallon of hot water.

Powdered tide not liquid! If you have instagram there is a cleaning company that shares their tips ans tricks called gocleanco they swear by powdered tide and hot water -- so far they are not wrong. I recently used that combo to clean my greasy cooktop hood vent and it was so clean with minimal scrubbing.

If you don't like the feathers in your throw pillows, check to see if there is a zipper in one of the seams. If so, unzip your pillow, remove the feathers and replace with inexpensive pillow inserts from Walmart.

Love your videos. May I recommend that you wear shoes when using any electric device to avoid electric shock, especially the carpet shampoer.

What is the white stuff you were putting in the laundry from the metal container? As for the couch grippers, use the kind Cambriea uses. I used them on my couch and let me tell you, that thing is going nowhere unless you pick it up.
It is oxy clean! I always use a scoop in every load. I do have grippers on the sofa and the recliner they move anyway and leave black marks on my floor 😒😬 I will figure it out. The rug does look nicer pulled out though.
@@JessieLifestyleAtHome I can't remember what they are called, but I got them from Amazon. My couch is on a hard surface floor and it literally will not scoot, even if you push it. I thought the white stuff might have been baking powder. Always up for good laundry hacks. Thank you!

There are adhesive furniture floor protectors with rubber on the bottom. Your couch will not slide or move.
We have them on the couch and recliner but they both slide !
Even with the rubber. HUH, We have to literally pick it up now to move it. No slide at all.

I have feather pillows too, and I hate them. My dog chews on them! I think he can smell the feathers or something because he doesn't do that with my other pillows.

If the cushion covers can be removed then take them off, put the pad into a cover then put the coloured cover back on. I have had to do this with all my feather cushion pads to stop being stabbed by the poking out feathers.

I do like it! Helps with rocking baby while out in the living room. Not enough butt cushioning for my liking or for sitting for a long time though. If I add another cushion I think it would be perfect .

Men just don't understand that our home is a representation of us, women, not them, unless of course the guy is single. Lol. I may not wash the curtains but I do go around checking every area of my home before expected guests arrive. Now if unexpected guests arrive, well, it is what it is. Lol. If you take the back legs of the sofa off the rug and have the grippers on the back legs, it should keep the rug and sofa from sliding when someone sits down. It would need to be done on all the back legs. Your house looks great.
I had grippers on it but still slides. I have grippers on the recliner but it slides too . Maybe I need to try a new brand.

Edit I do wish you used more eco-friendly products. Alot are things like vinegar and baking soda and hydrogen peroxide things you already have you can use to safely clean house.
I do use those thing a lot in my videos actually. Sometimes they just don't cut it .
