Roger Moore was the best 007. For many reasons: height, beauty, physical prowess, elegance, sarcasm and sympathy. He was the top as British man and a viveur. The other actors are good too but as Jemes Bond I can imagine just him. He was born to be 007. R.i.p. to you, great actor and person.
Brilliant! Captured the essence of sir roger moores bond without getting too lengthy. He was the bond I grew up with, Daniel Craig has been outstanding but roger moores films will always be amongst my favourites. 👍
Hiya from England. I was only a child of the 60's so i watched all the films on ITV when they bought the rights from MGM/UA around 1973/4 with Roger and Live and Let Die. I have watched Roger's stint as 'Bond' many times since on TV. He put his own 'slant' on the role which i liked as it fitted into the 1970's, so different to Sean, of course but 2 different men and styles anyway and the 60's was so much different. I also loved Roger in the series The Persuaders. With the lovely Tony Curtis. I loved watching the series for the cars, fashion, fabulous filming locations. I loved the 60's Bond films and the 70's Bond films for the same reasons Roger died in 2017 But over the last 18 months we have lost Honor, Blackman, Margaret Nolan, Peter Lamont and Sean Connery. During the Oscars ceremony in 1989 for best supporting actor which was won by Kevin Kline you had walk on stage to entertain the audience you had Sean, Michael Caine and Roger together. Such great actors and as you know back then MEN COULD SHOW OFF THEIR MASCULINTY and OH they did. Michael is the last one 'STANDING'
He was the Best! Hands Down! There will never be an actor to play/be Bond 007 that will ever come close to him! He had it ALL! Thank You Sir Moore, you will never be topped R.I.P. Sir.......
A good life he lived. But he was the Bond of my youth and mid adulthood. His work outside of acting with UNICEF was a great character of his many good virtues. Now Sean Connery has joined you in a better place than the world you left behind.
Nice tribute to an amazing man. My favourite Bond. Such a cool, funny man. I enjoyed watching him in everything he did. Truly nobody did it better. R.I.P Sir Roger.
To me Sir Roger Moore and Sir Sean Connery were two sides of the same coin of Bond. Sir Roger Moore was the charm, gentleman and posh side. Sir Sean Connery was the rough, tough, very much into his Scottish roots, cold, professional and predatory side. Neither can exist without the other
@@chrismc410 Agreed. Whilst my favourite is Moore, I definitely see how essential Connery's portrayal is. Two excellent Bonds. Very fitting that no Bond actor will have more films than either of them.
My favorite Bond of all time and the best damn bond ever. “When in Egypt one must dwell deeply into its riches.” My favorite quote of Sir Roger Moore Bond character. May he RIP.
Obviously you made a great tribute to Sir Roger Moore 007, who made for us the best adventures we couldn t imagine where our super secret agent was brilliant at the danger ! Thanks, excellent work for our favorite Actor ! me. Grillo.
Roger Moore is my favorite bond and my favorite bond movie is The Spy Who Love Me. Submarine car, nice humor, great plot, beautiful gals, very entertaining movie.
Moore will always be thé defenitive Bond for me. Everyone else will always be compared to him only the strand at knee's height. ooohh, when will we have the joy to once again go to the cinema and watch a real Bond movie.
He was Bond to my sister and I growing up. Her favorite Bond movie with him was The Man With The Golden Gun. For me it's a four-way tie of Live and Let Die, The Spy Who Loved Me, For Your Eyes Only and Octopussy. If I had a WWE Titantron it would be For Your Eyes Only as my entrance music. Honorable mentions for me was Moonraker. Any Bond movie that brings back the secondary Bond theme "Bond Takes The Lecktor" aka "007" isn't all bad. In fact, despite the hate the fans give Moonraker it did dethrone Thunderball as the highest grossing entry in franchise history until Skyfall. Moonraker was the last time we heard it. Though Thunderball and Diamonds Are Forever had the best renditions of "007", it's long overdue to come back. Another honorable mention was A View To A Kill. Until Adele's Skyfall, Duran Duran's A View To A Kill was the first and only entry in the series to hit the number one entry on the Top 10 and a Grammy I could see many scenes in The Living Daylights, Licence To Kill and both the Brosnan and Craig Eras it could have worked in.
Roger's Bond movies were outrageous fantasy films. Which is fine by me. Fleming never took Bond seriously either. In the book 'Dr.No', Bond fights a giant squid ( its not in the movie ), Dr.No dies after being buried under a ton of bird poo, and in 'The Man With The Golden Gun', Scaramanga has three nipples. That's not gritty realism and was not intended to be. The fantasy started with Connery. All Moore did was to turn up the dial.

Good show. I love the way he delivered his lines, "while not bumping into the furniture", as he might have said. He seemed like real good egg.
